If i seen someone wearing that I'd just think it's a £10 Argos watch. …If i seen someone wearing that I'd just think it's a £10 Argos watch. Much nicer watches to be had for 3 grand , but each to their own i guess.

Watch brands don't price their watches based on how 'nice' they are to people who have little interest in watches. A watch being 'nice' is subjective. One person may think it's ugly or a "£10 Argos watch", whilst another may find it beautiful.
Whereas having a high level of finishing, high quality materials, a coaxial movement, and being both COSC and METAS certified, manufactured by one of the worlds best watch makers are not subjective.

Interesting comment..'I want people to think i'm rich' - live your life and dont worry about impressing people, to some people this is a wonderful watch and its designed for them, I love iconic watches like the submariner, to some people its a boring watch with a thousand other watches that look the same...no ones wrong no ones right...that's life.

Just because someone has a nice watch do you presume they are rich, some people just work/hustle really, really hard to buy things they want fair play to them.

Are there any if these worth buying as an investment for their future value or do they all lose money?

Hence the reason i said " each to their own " . I'm not disputing the quality of materials used , I'm just stating my personal opinion of the overall look.

I think that offer didn't apply to Omega, Tag, Breitling and a few other brands..... same goes for most of their x% off codes too
I have a 5% back offer for ernest Jones on my AmEx card - may be worth checking your AmEx offers if you are seriously thinking about this.
Very nice indeed
Should come with a tee shirt that says "I SPENT NEARLY 3 GRAND ON A WATCH" Just so everyone knows how rich you are.

The Parrot drone you posted doesn't 'look' good to me. But I'm sure it's a fantastic drone. Similarly it's possible to buy a £10 drone on Amazon, but it would be silly of me to compare the two...

I'd recommend an index fund. Watches are not sound investments

Likewise, being rich is subjective. I might feel rich if I had £3,000 to spend on a watch. However, I'd no longer feel rich after I'd bought it!

Probably better of with a £5 Casio on the violent streets.

You need to go to Specsavers!
Get off that crappy brew money and income support, get a job, work hard, save and buy what the heck you want

What does it matter what other people think ! oh and if you cant do the above whats wrong with a £15 Timex !

Everybody to their own

maxmix

PS Nothing in that sale with 10% is a future investment ! There are watches i've spent a few grand on over the last 30 years that have halved in price ! Who cares ? Buy what you want and wear it well if it makes you feel happy !

Replicas included

Think this depends where you live to be honest in reality most people dont really give a monkeys what watch you have.
Before anyone goes buying this watch just realise that this is the ladies watch, not the men's watch. Ernest Jones have got the description wrong.

Well spotted - and the ladies one is still £4390
This watch is stunning, but I wouldn’t spend 3k on it.

Very few watches maintain or increase in value. Rolex probably the best bet, purely because of their business practices....however, your chance of getting one of the models that appreciate (e.g. Pepsi GMT, Daytona) are slim to none unless you're a regular spender/have a relationship with an AD. I cant emphasise this enough, if you dont have tens of thousands to spend, do not buy a watch as an investment.
Toptrumpet17/07/2019 17:34

The ladies one at full price is very subtly different at the 6'o'clock index so I think this deal price may be honoured as it is actually a completely different watch, albeit with an incorrect description.
Swatch own omega I adore swatch watches got 3 keep perfect time

Damn. You got a link to any of these coaxial AT’s for £1300?
The most important thing to remember when buying and wearing a watch. Regardless of price or looks. If you like it and think it’s beautiful then it is beautiful. Simple as that. Wear what you love 👌🏻
What a great price! Damn! What’s happening?

I don't think £3k would be deemed as 'impressive' in the 'watch collectors' world.

Personally I wouldn't spend that amount. But I like the seamasters and it's a good price to pick them up for. Voted hot.

No some people are just nuts when it comes to that sort of thing
I'm sorry, but if you are an average joe. You have to be a bit stupid to pay £3k for a watch.
If spending this much on a watch, get a rolex. No point paying over the odds for a rebadged swatch.
A bunch of blue cocks talking about how something they know nothing about isn't worth it.
Better to go for a Grand Seiko
