Probably not but this is one of the better looking omegas tbf
I’m looking for an omega homage in the U.K. ?
That literally looks like a children’s watch!
This Omega watch looks great but the investment potential isn't there. You will lose a large portion of the initial cost buying this new from Goldsmiths. Have a look on Chrono24 to see how much this is going for from the grey market. There are watches out there that hold their value better than this one.
Would you really rather this than a moonwatch with over a grand left for treating the Mrs?

I've looked on Chrono24, nothing on there beats this price. OK some of the dealers from the US or Japan maybe cheaper, but then you have to add delivery and import cost. Those will take the prices above this.
If you have an Amex, there's currently an extra 5% back on anything above a £300 spend in EJ.
Plus Quidco.

Currently £6650 on Earnest Jones (Sale). So even with the 5% back from Amex, this one from Goldsmiths is a better deal.

Shit, sorry. I thought this was a post for EJ. My bad.
I've not voted either way on this deal. Watch prices are going mad. Especially with Omega. I've bought 3 Omega's in the last 12 months. Their prices have shot up in the last year since I bought them. Great for any Re-sale, not so good to buy new.

The planet Ocean prices have increased around £3000, in the last 2 years.

You can get lucky though, I picked this Commander up brand new from my local AD for 2800 a couple of months ago.

The LE 007 Commander c/w NATO & SS strap was defo discounted at ADs with J&C having a couple at £2,600 for a while. Lotsa bang for the buck for fans.

I posted a deal on it earlier in the year, it was £2975. Someone else found it for £2600 at Jamieson&Carry. I was in a Aberdeen a couple of days later, and went to buy it from them, but at 41.5mm its a bit too small for my wrist. I've sold off all my watches under 43mm as they look small on me (Fat wrists).

But the Commanders watch is a very good watch. I like the colouring on the face and dial, and gold weight at the back looked great.

Absolutely scorching deal that got a crap score on here, how typical of HUKD yet when it's a ropey 25 quid bottle of bourbon going for £22.50 it will reach 500+ every time
Brr, getting cold in here, still think it was a good deal. The black/orange one also looks impressive

I am very partial to all things orange and blue myself so was quite tempted by that model myself but blue won the day

Fantastic

I am very much an Omega fanboy, I get all the criticisms about endless limited editions and I'll even go along with them being valid but they still make some absolutely gorgeous sports time pieces that are worth spending your hard earned dough on.

In fact the only Rolies I would ever buy over an Omega if they were available at RRP are the James Cameron and the older Batman on the standard oyster(as I don't dig the jubilee bracelet on the new'un) because of, yeah you've guessed it, the colour blue.

That is an ugly strap.

That is an ugly strap.

Thank you so much for your valuable input but I like it myself which is why I've not.....

39061846-JPooa.jpg
.....even bothered swapping over to the supplied bracelet yet
Are you looking for my validation? Imagine being this thirsty for a strangers attention & validation.

Strap is still ugly. Now you are just desperate to go with it.
