It's not a £400 laptop, but a £400 laptop won't play AAA games. IMO it’s a good deal for i7 9th Gen CPU, 16GB RAM, RTX 2070 and 1 TB of SSD, being £100 cheaper than anywhere else I can find it + includes 3 years HP care package.

Seems a little pricey for a Max Q variant to me.
Meh.
Crazy price
Its £1340 if you can get HP employee pricing which lots of companies offer.

Even Better

unfortunately we're a dell house
Hard to see this as much of a deal when you could get a helios 300 i7 9750H gtx 1660ti under volted cpu and turbo button to over clocked gpu as stock for £800 a month back which performs pretty much on par with this.
Is a 240hz screen vs 144hz on the helios and 16gb ram over 8gb really worth over £800 not to mention the helios has better fan/cooling system.

I doubt it, £1300 for that spec from acer. Small SSD and only 8gb ram too at that price. Although I would agree the helios is a very good laptop.

I bought it £800 from very i7 9750H gtx 1660ti 512gb ssd, black friday deal. Cost me £915 in total after adding 16gb hyper x ram and an extra 1tb ssd.
Was £999 on sale with £200 cashback on top
39676944.jpgForgot on top of that claimed a free predator laptop bag worth £100 from acer

That deal from Very was exceptional, I got £1000 off of an Alienware area 51m combined with BF pricing. You'll be waiting a while before the Helios can be bought for that again.

I didn't say anyone could still get it, i was just saying i dont personally see the omen as much of a deal when 6 weeks back i got not much less spec wise for £800 less.
But thanks its an awesome machine for the price and the free predator bag is excellent too, best bag ive ever had
