An absolute beast of a monitor this. Ultra-wide, curved, with NVIDIA G-Sync, 4ms response time, 3440x1440 resolution, and a 100hz Refresh Rate.

Had a look around this seems to be the cheapest price for this particular ultrawide, whilst it doesn't reach the coveted 120hz refresh, ultrawides are getting there, and this is one of the best you can pick up today spec wise.

Always wanted an UW but the prices have always been too high for my liking, that an the fact 4k monitors can now be got for around £200-£300 makes me think I should just go 4k lol (I know 4k is more demanding to run but still).

I used to have a 4k monitor. Anyone on here tried both? Which do u prefer?
Is this better than the dell Alienware that was previously on offer ?

no
Just wanted to drop a few updates/corrections to the description.

It comes with a 1 year manufacturers warranty as stated by HP themselves. Box & Amazon both state 2 year manufacturer warranty for some reason.

1.2 Display port (Recommended) 60Hz at 3440 x 1440
1.4 HDMI (Recommended) 50Hz at 3440 x 1440

VESA Compatible

AMVA with LED backlight of course

R1800 Curve

What you you use it for? 1440 and 4K is not really noticeable at 27th. but 1440P is too low for 32 inch imo. but i cant say if its the same for 35inch UW. though i would assum so.

Basically if you not gaming and dont care about high refresh rate . get 4K for monitor over 27 inch. any bigger i would look at 4K
porn would look great on this

A 35" 3440x1440 resolution monitor has the same DPI as a 2560x1440 27" one.
*edit* just run the numbers through sven's DPI calculator and apparently I'm wrong but not by much, 106 DPI for 35" vs 108 for 27". 4K gets a similar DPI on a 40" monitor.

I'd be using it for gaming and on the odd occasion a tiny bit of design work but not much these days.
I loved my 4k monitor before but some things were just too small back then. I got a 4k monitor a long time ago. Things are a lot more supported these days but still not perfect.

I also am obsessed with screen estate and space. I play MMORPG's a lot and RPGS so details, details details! I like to have a lot on my screen at once and my UI can get crazy sometimes so the better resolution and wider the better.

Honestly, as much as I love the thought of an UW though I think just going 4k would be better even if I have to reduce a few things like shadows and AA.

Hoping one day a GPU comes out that can really run 4k and I'd be happy with 60fps as I've never known anything more
