On-Guard Pitbull DT-8005 Keyed Shackle Lock, Gold Rated £20.29 - Amazon

Found 19th Jun 2015
This is a Gold rated Sold Secure lock, with cable. Very good reviews on Amazon (4.8). I haven't found any Gold rated locks anywhere near this price, let alone with a bundled cable.
This is a solid lock, and will certainly have any thieves moving on to the next bike..

Almost the cheapest it's ever been (£16.04), according to Camelcamelcamel.

If you don't have Prime, you'll need to bump your total up to £20 for free delivery.

There is a seller offering it for £15.90 with free delivery, but personally I prefer using Amazon to know returns will be no hassle. Plus I have Prime, and I can get £1 back if I choose slow delivery.

Edit: Looks like the HUKD swarm has descended. Amazon and the sellers have gone up. Now 20.29, which is still on the cheaper side of its usual price. Updated price.

Yeah, every time I order anything, I can choose the 3-5 delivery option (instead of free next day), and get £1 back each time, to be spent on digital products (kindle books, music, films, etc). I think my Prime has already paid for itself!

Thanks - Just ordered

Burger! - I ordered this at £21.70 4 days ago and it was a good price then. Time to contact Amazon for a refund!

£15.90 now

£15.90 + FREE UK delivery
In stock. Sold by Adventure Northumberland

Got it for £15.90 Non-Prime

How longs the delivery on non prime not from Amazon?

Super, £15.90 for non prime now

Edit - Order no processing

In need of a decent lock. Read a review that said it took over 1 minute to cut through the shackle with power tools, the Abus one I was looking at (more expensive) only took 30 seconds.

I bought 2 of these a couple of months ago. Superb lock, just make sure to keep it lubricated if you are leaving it out in the rain etc.

£20.29 now, the Brute version is not much more than that offering the top level of security.

£20:90?

Expired Amazon is £20.90 now.

Trouble I find with all these locks is the weight of them, I'm lucky I've got a bike locker at work so don't need a lock, but otherwise I drag an abus granite around with me, fits around the waist but weighs more than my bike!

Worth looking at getting a price match from a certain service

Remember to lock your bike properly too or this will happen

Do you ride with it round your waist? A friend found out the hard way why that's a bad idea!

Maybe I don't want to know the answer? But I do.

£21.52 now. Amazon are clearly just bumping up the price as they see the sales rise. Think I'll set-up a Camel Camel alert for when it inevitably drops back down.

Yeah, standard thing really, sales go up price follows, didn't really need this but would've got one as a spare lock for £15 but not £20, pretty much the same price elsewhere if you google.

£21.52 now,

Thought the idea when the price goes up is to expire the deal, rather than changing the price in order to benefit from upvotes gained while the price was lower.

It was still a good deal, as evident by the Camelcamelcamel trend. I don't think it's necessary to expire and create a new deal for every price change. What matters is if it's still a deal.

I bought thus last time it was on offer and it's a great lock. I found the cable to be a little short (it's only 1 metre long), so I ended up buying a 2 metre one from another Amazon seller. Never worrg about leaving my bike with this lock.

looks like a good deal. heat added. how does it compare to 'alfords item

Looks like the Kyptonite lock has Silver Sold Secure rating.

Why do you need a cable more than a metre long... How far apart are your wheels?!

The lock goes around the back wheel in the triangle and around the bike rack/post. The cable goes through the front wheel then loops through itself and only one of the cable loops goes onto the Dlock.

If you are doing it any other way you are doing it wrong.

Bespoke £18.73
Flubit £20.18

Got this from amazon about a year ago. Solid great lock. Well worth more than £20.
