Andre Previn? :whistling:

Did you know that 'On the Buses' 1st Film was the biggest film at the Cinema in the UK in 1971, beating James Bond - Diamonds are Forever...

One of my favourite sets of films this, great price. A welcome DVD next to my collection of Carry On films, perhaps they should have been part of that franchise instead?!:)

My god this series was utter **** and yet I always watch it lol, I watched an entire episode where they were buying a toilet seat.......

Batla!!

Ahhhh classic English comedy from the days when men were men - and women were glad of it!

I've watched all seven series and all three films - all worthy additions to any DVD collection - though the final film 'Holiday on the Buses' is the poorest effort tbh. I always loved Michael Robins as 'Arthur', his relationship with live-in brother in-law 'Stan' (Reg Varney) always has me in fits of laughter.

'Olive' and 'Mum' annoy the hell outta me which I guess means they go it right, great fun watching 'Stan' and 'Jacko' trying it on with all these archetypal 70's birds - Stan almost always thwarted from getting his leg over by Mum, Olive, Arthur, Blakey or Jacko(nicking his bird).

Good times
