One of the best films ever made. Going to wait for the review though before seeing if the upgrade is worthy.

Got the dvd for £3.50 off Amazon. That'll do me fine.

Its NOT a "good deal" though.
Best price available, maybe. Ridiculously expensive, CERTAINLY.
Didn't vote, personally. But thats why the cold votes.

Why would you say expensive? £13.99 is certainly not a lot for a blu-ray disc.

£1 off Movietyme code: FACE210511 makes it £12.99

It's a perfectly decent price for a new blu-ray with delivery from the US

fantastic price, I've waited so long for this on blu-ray. Many thx for this info.

Anyone know if this is the 'full' version of this movie? I think it was cut for the DVD release due to length

This has both the Theatrical and a 'Restored' edition that is unrated, though there's barely a minute's difference between them

According to Wiki (not the most reliable source I know!) there are three versions.
145 minutes (Theatrical)
165 minutes (Restored)
171 minutes (Extended)

166min 01sec - Restored

Extras are the same as the 2-Disc DVD

I wouldn't hold my breath for a 'director's cut' mate. The 171min extended version is a bootleg, no studio will be using it any time soon. There is the 168min Italian version but it's just a slightly longer intro, a few extra close-ups of Harmonica and some wide shots, this is almost certainly the most complete version we're going to get for some time

Ignore that they state it is region A, it is definitely region free

Comparing the dvd to the blu ray and prices for both is like comparing a reliant robin with a bugatti veyron
