Great deal for the one day CBT course. I'm looking to get into motorcycle riding and this is a good price as normally its double that. they also provide all of the equipment on the day too!

Cold, because groupon deals are never what they seem. You'll turn up for this course an find it a push bike proficiency course. Groupon= rip off beware

Silly comment really..the company (Rebel Dogg) have great reviews on their own website and are well established. Just because you had a bad time in the past doesn't mean all deals are like that...and besides it's a CBT course..black and white as to what you are paying for!

Nothing wrong with groupon I've ordered several things from their website and know other people who have too and not had a problem, must be just you!

Good price if everything stated works out.

Paid £99 for mine last year

Never had a problem with Groupon. Great price. I paid about that 20 years ago.

I've advertised my own business on groupon and still offered exactly what was stated and at a huge discount!

Nice find OP

If we all rode bikes then there would be less congestion on the roads...
plus you can't be distracted by using your mobile phone whilst riding a bike...¿

Do these last 2 years then you have to pass or do it again?

If you go on to pass your bike on the road test then you never have to do it again.

Wow !! Just in time. I am planning buy moped to commute to station. Browsing through some sites, just came accrossnabout CBT and found on HUKD.
feeling lucky !! Thanks OP.

Ok thank you.

I paid £115 well worth it for this price. Been on the road six months and put 3000 miles on my yamaha xt 125 x. Winter (if you can call it that) was abit depressing but now we get sunny morning the love has came back. So cheap in fuel to its a win win

No, depends on the deal they have arranged with the establishment. Though I cannot see how this CBT deal could be anything but what it is. Still voted hot.

Had a disappointing "steak and a beer meal" voucher through a Groupon offer which was one of our local pubs we visited a number of times previously for meals. Getting money off a place we love anyway was going to be a great deal. The steak was a "special" sized piece for Groupon deals - about a third down in size with a few chips only. Normally the same basic steak meals on the menu starts with a full compliment of sides (bowl of chips, mushrooms, choice of sauce, onion rings) and is an 8oz steak - this one was more like a 5 or 6 at best and was plainly different from the table next to us who ordered from the menu.

And think of the organ donor surplus.

and your point is what?

I'd pay £59 just to watch the people who've never rode a bike before lol, I had a good laugh on my cbt many years ago think I paid £99 for thr day but they signed me off early

Heat, I've done a few CBT's myself before I got my license and they cost £100+

Now now little boy enough of the name calling. Your probably one of them people who get laughed at I've no doubt, hence being all defensive.
If you take a moment to look, all over YouTube that'll show you its not just me that has a laughs at other peoples expense, even You've Been Framed shows people having incidents on bikes.
Maybe you need a sense of humour not a CBT, so you're on the wrong deal Forrest Gump.

I had good experience with groupon. I purchased a course in 2012. Since I was not able to take the course, they gave me full refund after one year! amazing...I had actually given any hopes that I would get money back:p

crazy cheap with bike hire and kit included, i'm looking at spending £120 locally!

Good deal, I paid £100 in 2009.

And of course, you rode like a pro from day one.... wonder why I've never heard your name on the circuit??? (_;)

There is a huge difference between laughing at something in front of the person and laughing about it on tv or on the internet, the person you're mocking can't see it so won't care (surely even you can see that???). Point is, if someone is struggling to learn, people like you are about as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool!!!

Yep indefinitely

You have to keep L-Plates on and can't go on Motorways etc, but its great to commute around town etc!

Mmmm bit confused now, done the googling and it says if you have a full driving license you can ride a moped indefinitely but nothing bigger, if you want to keep riding a 125 you still have to take the test every 2 years if you haven't passed?.

Car Licence issued after 2001:
You’ll already have category P moped entitlement on your licence. This covers mopeds with a maximum speed of 50km/h.

You’ll still need to take compulsory basic training (CBT) and then take a moped test within 2 years of this.

Before 2001:
You can already ride a moped up to a maximum speed of 50km/h. This is shown as category P on your licence.

You won’t need to take compulsory basic training (CBT) or a full practical test.

Mopeds have a maximum speed of 31mph and an engine size of up to 50cc.

Follow the Gov link gov.uk/veh…ive

The driving licence rules, vehicle categories and age limits for learning to ride a motorbike or moped changed on 19 January 2013.

Once you get your provisional licence, must get a compulsory basic training (CBT) certificate to ride on public roads. You must take and pass the theory and practical tests in 2 years. If you don’t pass both parts of your practical test within 2 years of taking theory test, then you’ll have to start the process again.

Maybe your expectations are set too high. Groupon etc offer deals with vendors with significant discounts that means the vendor has to sell at usually at least 50% off normal price plus pay a fee to groupon per sale. On occasions it's simply going to be very difficult for the vendor to offer the usual product (normally where food is concerned) at such a huge discount particularly if there are much more goupon sales than they anticipated. Groupon deals are good for ailing business to get people through the door you get a meal half the price so don't be surprised if at times you don't get what other customers are getting.
