M&S Deal of the Day: Samsung 40'' LE-40B652 Full HD LCD TV £599. Note that the price at the top of the linked page is the normal price; there's a box stating that today's price is £599. Also the title and screen shot are misleading - the spec, and Samsung's web site (samsung.com/uk/…idx?pagetype=prd_detail), confirm that this is a 1080p 100Hz TV

Great TV. I bought one in December from Comet, I got a free HD DVD player and had one of those vouchers so I paid about £590 inc quidco.

£699 in Comet so £599 aint a bad deal at all. It looks a lot nicer than the Sony's which have been on here recently but not sure how it measures up to them.

does anyone know if a 40" LCD Full HD with 100Hz can be found cheaper? Just wondered why cold?

Problem is this is a good deal but compared to M&S deal 3 weeks ago when they had one of the 40" 100Hz Sony's for £449.
TV looks great and the picture is fantastic.

Anybody know how good this tv is? This deal comes with 5 year guarantee as well

Theres the 47inch LG one around still at the moment for less, £579.99

Today its £599 but yes its normally £699.

was that sony the kdl40w5500?? or 5710, sumthing like that..., id go for the samsung personally if price wasnt an issue, gets astounding scores for visuals! sansung have always been bad with sound but personally that wouldnt be an issuefro me, and becomes redundant with a home cinema system
