I came across this whilst looking for a TV signal booster, I couldn't find it anywhere near this price anywhere else. Reviews seem to be mixed but I suspect that may be down to people not installing correctly. Anyway, hopefully it will fulfill my needs.

I'm thinking people may not be wiring the aerial cable connectors properly.

Some people might want to warm up a saucepan of baked beans on this portable camping hob.
Some people assume these boosters give a usable signal when there's nothing much to amplfy to start with., And badly fitted coax plugs are very common.

Anyone bought one of these type things and it actually do anything more than light a red Led and do nothing to the signal whatsoever ?

If you have a strong signal then it may not be needed, too much signal can cause issues too. if you split a signal each output is halved / quartered etc so a booster can increase signals and may be needed if trying to run several TV's

Indeed I have used a different brand of booster in the past and found myself having to put an attenuator in line to dampen the boost as it was too much.
Mine works absolutely fine. Good signal on 4 tv's.
I'm here suprised that aerials are still used that is soo 1970

According to these, millions of homes still use standard aerials to access terrestrial TV in the UK:
ofcom.org.uk/tv-…als
barb.co.uk/tv-…rm/

So, whether you are surprised or not or assume it's 'still' a 1970's thing, doesn't change anything
