Good deal, but note that It is 12 miles from Nottingham city centre, on a retail park.

...Business park

"and don't want to be too close to the city centre".
It's the next junction up the M1 as cammy69 said, for anyone interested in this deal, I've heard good things about it though especially the food. I believe it's owned or partly owned by David Coulthard.

It was owned by Coulthard before it went bust and shut down. Not all that long ago re-opened I believe. I have a feeling he was trying to appeal to a higher class of guest but he's not going to get many of them where it is based.
And I am from Nottingham so it's not like I am having a go at another area

I can concur, this is nowhere near Nottingham city centre, it's right next to junction 27 of the M1 at Sherwood Business Park so once you're there there's not a lot to see outside the hotel. Unless you like motorways. Or office buildings. Or car parks.

I saw this earlier, but can't see how it's worth upto £200. It's £99 to stay in the exective room on their website, and I tried a load of different dates, so unless the wine is bloody fantastic, the deal isn't that great.

think we will stick to travelodge big beds kettle and toys
