Quite cheap considering the price is going up all the time - the current market price has gone up due to the mining community and memory price hikes so best to buy now as its forecasted to go up even more over the next few months but we will see when the AMD VEGA is released soon, SCAN price is currently £480 Overclockers £480 and some are higher - stock due into amazon tomorrow.

1070 for £440, no way
I ordered an MSI GTX 1070 Quicksilver from Amazon for £311 a few weeks back. Still waiting on delivery but it's a bargain for what is possibly the fastest 1070 you can buy. But £439 is not cheap on my opinion. You are better off waiting.

lol you can get a 1080 for around the £500 mark. So the £480 price you have seen for this is crazy.
Sorry but freezing, this is comfortably into used gtx1080 territory, not even far from the price of the most basic gtx1080s new.

Would quite like a 1070 but wont touch them at current pricing. Really sad i missed out on the quicksilver deal on amazon. That said i have a fury which is said to have similar performance but in practice it has some annoying caveats including some bad coil whine and needing an adaptor to work with a 4k display introducing a occasional flicker. To top it off its completely factory locked so no fury x mod for me one thing i can say for it is it was cheap...
bought EVGA's SC black version of the card back in Jan for £300 from Amazon, that was an incredible deal
i wouldnt buy a 1070 atm. for the majority of models £300-350 is the price youd want to pick them up at.
but i mean if youre desperate for a nvidia gpu youre already paying around £100 more, you might aswell go for a 1080 at £500

yes, all them deals are gone now and they were great - however find a cheaper overclocked triple fan GTX 1070 today - from a UK seller - you will find the price has gone up everywhere and same with GTX 1080 so good luck cold voters - this stock will be snapped up in no time and then the price will go up further so up to you if you buy or not but this deal is for todays price, the 1080 is a good deal, well spotted - again that wont last long

memory has doubled in price - makes prices higher
Nvidia are charging more for the chips because of mining - makes price higher

its going to go up more not down, your choice... :-)

Yeah, I know that is the principle of HUKD, the best price right NOW, but in reality I (and probably?) others can't be so detached. If you didn't want to get the best price on something you probably wouldn't be a visitor of this site, therefore, while it might be a good price in the context of the rubbish market we find ourselves in for PC stuff, it isn't a good price looking at the price history of the product. Surely the only thing better than getting a undeniably stonking gpu like this is being able to say I got a great price on it, it's the icing on the cake, I'd say it even adds (slightly) to the enjoyment of owning it. No one wants to say I got a GTX1070 and it cost a fortune, unless they just want to brag about their richness again HUKD not really being the place for it.

Personally, if I didn't have a GPU I would even rather use Intel's finest (i.e. the naff integrated graphics) than pay current prices, but each to their own.....

Likewise.

Seriously considering just cabcelling and going for a cheap 1080 at this point :/.

Whats the power draw on a 1080v1070?
Man. Looks like GPUs are getting higher and higher in price. I bought an MSI Gaming Z 1080 for 460 less than a month ago. I'd feel robbed paying this for a 1070.

This depends on the model. The higher clocked versions use custom pcbs and draw more power than the stock versions. A quick Google of the model your interested should reveal a few reviews that contain power consumption figures.
