I also ordered it from musicroom months ago but requested a refund as their "special orders" hardly ever arrive.
Listen without Prejudice is a very fine pressing BTW.
Is it a double album ?
I can confirm it is a double LP! I would select ‘ship in Amazon Packaging’ otherwise it will be shipped with no protection
Good tip for the future though
arriving Sunday (or before)
Nice one, I only realised/remembered you have to tick a box for it to be sent in amazon packaging, definitely makes all the difference with vinyl. Enjoy when it arrives, it’s a classic album
That would make more sense!
I've already got Head on the door and that singles album.
Might even buy pornography if the price drops a bit !
I saw them at the NEC myself on the prayer tour 89...my first 'stadium' gig...was epic.
Nice that this is double vinyl so has Last Dance and Homesick that were missing from the original vinyl pressing.
Yes I'll reserve judgement until I have listened to Disintegration but I really like Kiss Me which I've had on CD since about 1989.... Been waiting for the vinyl repress
to drop in price but if anything it seems to be going up...
And on Head... Sinking is superb...
Agreed - 'Sinking' on THOTH pointed the way to the Distingeration sound but does it way better.
I'm not a huge fan of Disintegration, some of the synths sound like the old Casualty theme tune!
I'd pick this up used on CD for £3 personally, the original CD sounds WAY better than this.
Cure albums ranked

I think it's a bit over-rated and I blame Southpark
I reckon A Forest, One Hundred Years, Sinking, From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea and This Twilight Garden all are in the same vain as the sound Distingration aimed for but do it far better, albeit spread over several albums.
The only way to hear this album is on the original CD from 1989 that says 'this music was mixed to be played loud, so turn it up' (from memory). £3 from Music Magpie - it smokes the modern remasters. Save yourself £18 folks and buy that
Tad popier albums.
But have to say I really enjoyed listening to this today, so thanks to the op fior posting.
Pretty sure they would make more £££ with a bit more effort!
Edit... side D also marked....
The package was sealed in it's original cellophane so might be that the pressings can be a bit hit and miss..... I've requested a replacement.
What turntable are you using buddy?
Technics SL-1200GR with an Audio Technica VM740ML
I thought it might have been my lightweight deck (Sony BT) which is notorious for picking up faults.
I'll put a message on my original post warning others who then have a choice about ordering or not.
*If anyone gets a decent copy, please post !
Ah OK... that's a shame to hear... to me it looks like it could be cleaned up but I'm not going to mess about if they can send a new one.
In my case it doesn't stick.... but it does skip and there there is a fair bit of scratchy noise.
I don't think anyone has mentioned any issues with the pressing on Discogs though, I'll have another look.
My second copy should come tomorrow so I'll let you know.
I tried 3 different copies spread out over an 8 month period and they all jumped, so all went back.
My Sony BT turntable has no anti skate/weight control so picks up any faults.
The joys of collecting Vinyl.............
But when you get it right !
Mines gone back with a full refund issued.
Might try again in a few weeks. (hopefully for a different batch).
RE Discogs
is there a list of decent pressings or bad pressings ?
Not really just have to read through the comments
I'd love to have anti skate/weight control as long as it was fully automatic and bluetooth as these are my requirements (due to space constraints).
