It's because people waited a long time for this to become available with all the invite nonsense & now it's a year old (still a good price for spec mind).

It might be a year old but still beats the all new Zenfone 2 Great phone for £280 when I got it in October, even better price now Hot!

The invite thing was smart actually. A startup company can not afford to mass produce so they created demand and produced to cater to that.

Heat added excellent phone, had mine since August.

If you buy one, and you value your sanity, for the love of God DO NOT install the OTA Cyanogen 12 Lollipop update. Completely ruined my phone. Keep it on 11S if at all possible! On that firmware, it's a cracking phone.

I partially agree with you in that respect but it dragged on for ages & if i recall from March to late October 2014 therer was no word of it being sold on the open market . I just got bored waiting like many others. Like I said still a great product heat added.

bargain! I had a invite but the £285 ish at the time seemed too much to spend for a phone with yellowing screen issues and new problems. seem all sorted now and CM12 release.

Yeah that is fair enough, it did go on a touch too long, they probably could have gone on actual sale around january and would have been fine.

Can't decide between this or an LG G3 (waiting for price to drop to £220) 64gb is nice but with G3 I'd have 16gb + 64gb SD card and there's the removable battery of the G3 and the rear camera is better on the G3. Has anyone used both and have an opinion which is better ? Would be really interested in knowing the difference in quality between the front facing cameras as the comparisons only do the rear 13mp cameras and not the 5mp for the oneplus vs the 2.1mp for the G3 as I want a decent front camera for skype

OOS

What about the Ellephone P7000? It looks amazing for only around £150.00.

This is really good point actually. I thought the invite thing was silly then someone pointed out that being a startup they have very tight margins and cannot afford to be sat on warehouses of handsets. makes sense now when you think about it

its still available at 219 in black?

One plus two coming out soon.

that review does not say the OPO is better, just the pros and cons for each. speaking as someone who has owned both, i would get the zenfone 2 if only to avoid the terrible CS (like everyone has mentioned) expandable storage is nice too, and being able to get the phone easily even though its not available in the UK yet, is a damn sight better then that awful invite system

One plus two coming out soon.

Should work well on 3?

cam anyone please tell me what network this phone is on. many thanks.

Unable to complete the order after adding to basket at about 2pm. Assumed due to demand on the site. Eventually after intermittently trying, managed to load the sit at 5pm at which point informed all sold out!

Anyone managed to order?

Yep, you get 4g on three and ee only

I truly don't recommend this phone to anyone. As I bought one this January and after only 2 months it started having the ghost touch problem, and if you have on their forum or even do a quick search on google you'll find it. The get almost unusable, and it's was proved to be a hardware problem. I needed to open a claim on PayPal to get my money back. I have to say, that if that phone doesn't have that problem, it would be the best cxb on the market. Got a g3, but without rooting it the battery is lot worse than the opo.

Not available anymore

SOLD OUT.

please unexpire. this repeatedly comes back in stock daily and gets sold out daily!

i had two in basket yesterday but got sold out before check out but came back in stock today morning and bought two more 64gb versions as gifts. already had 64gb version almost a year. great phone, much better than my note 3. 64gb internal memory beats any sd slot and have used loads of top spec phones including nexus 4, 5, note 1, note 3, s3, s4, s5, moto driod turbo, nexus 6 etc etc

will buy the one plus 2 when it is sold soon as havent had any problems with mine.

The yellow tinting problems on LCD screens are there on all manufacturers phones, just search any phone with that search term and you will find it for all manufacturers. No ghost touch problems either. some apps can cause issues on many phones just trial and delete apps and see which is causing issues.

I agree BUT if there was no Microsoft there would be no apple. I understand that apple revolutionised mobile phones and how we use them but what I don't like it close minded (apple) fans who vote cold on every android deal.

Also, just because apple revolutionised it first, doesn't mean that they're better than androids. at the end of the day it comes down to price and preference
