the one i ordered the other day was not the culinair one but a very poor imitation and didnt work very well this one says culinair on whish i had waited

I was thinking about getting these, but a lot of tins/cans now have the ringpull on them. Still debating whether to get one....just in case for those tins without the ringpull!!

heat and rep, missed the last deal.

just ordered have heat

I ordered one last week and although it showed Culinare in the picture it sure as hell wasn't what I got today. The main image does show Culinare but the other images do not. Best avoid as the imitations are useless.

[email protected] BUY THIS!!!
This is a cheap copy. Mine arrived today. Could only half open a tin of tuna. Almost lost a finger trying to open it.
It is not as shown in the picture and there are no batteries included.

Sorry Churchill can't help you out with this one dude, old habits are hard to break I suppose ,so maybe you are just starting where the last boyfriend left off?lol Sounds like this can opener might just be good enough for what you intent to use it for though.lol.
As for me have you ever tried to open a can without a can opener? Then again it might be easier than opening it with this can opener reading the last posting.

My other half had one of these fell to bits within the month, total rubbish. When it did work I found it was both easier and quicker just to use a normal tin opener! Wouldn't buy another one again, waste of time and money IMO.

How did this get so hot? When people are saying its fake and MattOsprey nearly lost a finger with it?! Odd.

Ordered, thanks, as of 11.30am 5th Aug they are back in stock, just use the link.
Can someone unexpire this.

need one of these, but need the culinere one. if they send a different brand one, surely you could send it back for full refund

I've just ordered one. The amazon website shows its by DKB Household and if you go to the culinare site, they own the Culinare brand.

yep, ordered 1
sent email to amazon and they replied with this

Was it an original?

Original Poster

Mine's just come - Culinare, like in the picture.

Ordered one of these last week but it wasn't the original one from Amazon as they had sold out. I paid £7.49 for it & it came from a company called getdirectshops via Amazon. Arrived today & its a cheapo one & surprise surprise it doesn't work!!!
Just seen that Amazon have them back in stock so just ordered one from them! Hope it works this time!!!

Saw it, bought it, got it, love it - nice one OP

Recommended, especially for aged relatives. We also bought the jar opener as my Mother only has the use of her left hand. A little concerned with reliability and battery lifetime but both going strong after 6 months.

i just realised that most tins actually can be peeled off so i cancelled my order
