Just fill it up with fuel and away you go.

Note that these journeys are pre-arranged and you choose one to return a vehicle to its origin location. E.g. Swindon to London Heathrow.

'Just fill it up with fuel and away you go.'

sounds like you never rented a car before
I used this once, literally only for 2 hrs. Paid a £1. Took a wrong turn into a bus lane, got fined £35 plus £35 admin fee by Europcar!!!!

£71
Its not from all locations. You're doing them a favour by bringing back cars that were used for one way hire. Saving them labour/trailer costs

Seeing similar prices. Doesn't seem much of a deal

GO on to the website and have a look at what is available. These vehicles are displaced from their original depot. It costs the company money to move them by car transporter so they win you win.

Use this specific link for the £1 one way rental page. Only seems to work on a desktop browser.
I can't seem to click on the map or enter anything for A or B ?
Meh. Booking offseason via ryanair I frequently pick up small cars at 5-10 euro a day, flexible dates and locations in the UK and Italy.
These £1 one way rentals are for the benefit of car hire companies rather than customers.
They make their money back when they try to charge you for fuel like they did with me, even when i left it totally full.

Cracking deal. Booked for a quid. Careful on your excesses and proofs of addresses though drivers.
Thanks op. Heat added.

Would you care to elaborate my friend on proof of addresses. What's the best way to do that?

Well it shows that they need a bank statement/utility bill of the last three months in addition to the card you pay with online, your drivers license and the £250 deposit. I’m thinking this could get tricky if someone else in your home pays the bills and your bank statements are paperless (so all online without your address on)
so you have to pay for fuel? is it cheaper than taking train?
What's the age limit on these?

That's a deal breaker. Can't be faffing around.

That was your daft decision and nothing to do with the rental company.
