Don't mess with this: Autoaid will give you (and spouse) full cover (incl homestart, recovery, accomodation, etc., etc.) on any vehicle you're in for £43.31. Reviews are great too.

Looks good - heat
My car has just passed the 10 year old limit a few days ago, dam! My breakdown cover needs renewing in a few weeks as well.
Heat from me though as a good deal for those who don't driver an old jalopy like me.
Only problem is, if they get too many members they might not be able to deal with all the call--outs!
Does cover motorcycles?

Apologies thought the code worked for everyone given is being promoted on site

Alternatively use code HELLO15 on a new account - which I just tested and worked

I'd definitely put this up as separate deal on its own. It's a great level of service for the price.

Correct - but still great value at full price.
Not sure whether same company but I saw a similar deal before. Reviews for the company was generally appalling, i.e. When calling the breakdown emergency number no one picks up for over 30 mins

Ditto.
Another vote for AUTOAID. Covers you, not the car and my wife, not the car.
Broke down Easter Sunday. Still waiting for recovery. Luckily we haven’t eaten all the eggs yet.
Great price though!
Looking at the reviews of Emergency Assist I would definitely avoid this company like the plague!
I have been a member for 2 yrs, my car is under 10 yrs old so thought i'd just get the cheapest in case it broke down and was a bit sceptical but my experience has been good. I called as I had a puncture, they responded to the call quickly, my connection was bad so they took my number and called me back. They use local contractors who called me and gave me an ETA. Turned up a bit later than advised (bit it was 5.30pm which I called so expected) but changed my tyre so it's all I needed. My friend has it also and he had a good experience after his brakes seized, they sent a guy to fix it.

I was thinking I may have wasted my money, but it's been OK for me. If you have a decent car which you know is in reasonable condition and just need cheap cover in case the worst happens which you are unlikely to use then go for it.
