As many of you will be aware Noddle offer free credit reports each month permanently (not a free trial, etc).

They have an additional 'Add-On' service called 'Noddle Alerts' that will notify you of searches/changes so that anything inproper can be dealt with quickly.

Noddle alerts for 12 months normally costs £20, but with this offer it is free for 12 months. As no payment details are taken for this, it will just expire at the end of the 12 month period.

Noddle Alerts offers the following additional benefits:

Get an email every time there's a significant change to your Callcredit credit report (like new credit accounts being opened)

Get a monthly email to reassure you if there have been no changes to your Callcredit credit report

-----

To get started, you'll need to use this code voucher TT231 at noddle.co.uk. Then, simply follow the instructions below. This is being provided by TalkTalk to their customers following their website being compromised.

If you've already got a Noddle account and would just like to add the twelve months of credit monitoring alerts, you can skip to step eight.

Used Noddle and never had any issues

Reviewing the thread link looks like a multi account trying to discredit the company which people have picked up on

Heat added OP

The best of British management a la Monty Python. You just audit their accounts and see how much money the accountants will tell you that they spent on security management instead of listen to public relations snake oily tongues. Any company that put a PR man and women to speak and bandage up the mouth of a head of security has failed its customers, when did you see a head of technical security speaking to the press about what really happened?!
Thanks worked without any problems on an existing account.
how to i get the voucher code (one year free alerts), for an existing noddle customer? i ticked all the boxes but it's asking for a voucher code, where do i get this code from anybody???
Thanks OP- free and didnt have my bank details.

This code is for talktalk customers following the major criminal cyber-attack on there website.!!!

Credit monitoring for all customersWe are continuing to work closely with … Credit monitoring for all customersWe are continuing to work closely with the Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit and security experts At the same time, our priority continues to be explaining the steps you should take to protect yourselves. We have emailed customers and continue to use the media and other channels to update you as the situation develops. We know that issues like this can be worrying so we've partnered with Noddle, a credit reporting service from Callcredit, one of the leading credit reference agencies, to offer 12 months of credit monitoring alerts for free. This service can now be activated by using the following code: TT231.

What the OP has failed to mention is that this is a code supplied by TalkTalk following their latest hack. TalkTalk are working with Noddle to help protect customers against potential fraud from stolen account information (unconfirmed if account information has actually been stolen)

My personal experience with Noddle has been positive with any missing info added/changed quickly. I have signed up to the alerts just in case anyway, though (thankfully) not a TalkTalk customer.
Fantastic cheers.
I'm not now but have been with TT. So I signed up. Companies never really delete you it seems.

How do we cancel the service next October?
Call me paranoid but I went to register with noodle and it asked for my long card number.. It was just on the news that they hackers 'only' got branch/sort code, but if they can hack to get that info surely they can hack noodle for your card number!!????
It was to 'verify my identity' before I could register.

Do you need to cancel if you didn't put card details in? How can they charge you without payment details?

you had to put card details in to sign up - 'for identity purposes' they say they discarded it.
anyway Step 10 of the talktalk slides says clearly - the alert service will just be cancelled at the end of the term.
after been declined for loan twice it is a perfect freebie.
thx
Thanks OP - great find
