Seems this was a different razor with same name and much bigger price tag.

You can use feather or mod gem blades to fit this instead of the overly expensive philips ones:

Thanks, wasn't aware of the other one and even searching again it wasn't easy to find. Probably not the best name to pick given the more well known one (though they probably had the name first).

Being a baldy myself i've used it to shave my head and didn't find it that great .
In terms of everyday shaving operates just like a normal electric razor , so not the closest will not beat a wet shave . I've tried it dry and with foam and did find using foam did improve performance
Great shaver, the strength of this thing for me is the ability to top up my shave every day without getting razor burn, rashes, bumps etc

Even with some great electric shavers I would still get shaver burn on my neck when using every day. With this one blade I have no problems. Lovely little thing and it has replaced all of my electric shavers and razor blades.
Got one as xmas present, first try and it's very smooth no danger of cutting yourself.
Not used properly yet tho need a few days growth to test it.
Think this is the better one to get as it has longer battery life.

This is really made for people who like to grow a bit of stubble.

I've tried other trimmers and they don't cut uniformly across the face, especially around the moustache area. This cuts very uniformly, so it looks like you've clean shaved about a day or two a go.

Not sure how well it works for longer beards, I can't grow one.
Purchased one of these a few months back based upon the many good reviews these Oneblade’s have. I wish I’d have paid more attention to the negative reviews. The blades themselves are extremely fragile and I’ve broken 3 already. I won’t be buying any more replacement blades but will opt for a new razor/trimmer. They shave ok, but are too fragile.
