Just been in my local Tesco, and picked up one of these for the missus (to be used as a pregnancy aid - I'm not implying that she needs to do more exercise!!!)

THe blurb on the box says the following:
65 cm (26") Diameter Gym Ball
Anti-burst
Includes a pump for easy inflation
Helps develop overall muscle tone, balance & coordination
Ideal for low impact exercise
Fitness guide included

I'm pretty sure the SEL said reduced from £6.00, although it shows as £4.99 on the website

Well worth a quid of anybody's money!

Good price - best I could get for my Mrs was £5 in Argos - hot, and congrats! We have less than 4 weeks until 'D-Day'!

Are these the same size as the Swiss balls you get in the gym?

That would depend on what size you have in the gym

You can get any size from 45cm to 85 cm, although the more usual ones are 55 or 65. What you require depends on your height or more importantly your lower leg length (your hips should be above your knees when you sit on one).

Oh, and don't do weight training on these ones. Max load of 100Kg - go to physique or escape for heavy duty ones (not so cheap though). These should be fine for general seating or core training.

what store was this in??

Just been to my local store, they had three different types of ball.
Unfortunately none of them were £1.00, guess the OP got lucky

Is this some new craze on how to get pregnant? Didnt realise a ball was an aid nowadays but each to their own I guess!!

Oh! Right! Errrrrrrrrmmm. Don't think I'll bother. Naff colour!!!

Great price. I used this one in my last 2 trimesters, and took it to the delivery room too. It really helped get me thru those early labour contractions cos it can support your bum while you still kneel down! Great.

bargain, been after one of these, I'll check tesco on the way home!

I'd take a lot less than that for mine :whistling:

Do you have any more Blue coloured medium sized yoga balls?
If so what are the best prices at this time?
Regards

Why post in a 5 year old thread!!!!!!!
