Don't know why it says trilogy!?

Because it also contains Sniper Art of Victory. It's currently the same price at IndieGala with a free game.

Don't know why it says trilogy!?

It should also contain the appalling Sniper: Art of Victory (2008)
I completely agree the publisher is a bit misleading callling it the Trilogy.

according to the comments on steam, it seems ppl bought sniper warrior 2 for 69p

I took this offer up, had a few problems but am a very happy customer.

When I ordered I received an invoice showing the full price of the game rather than the discounted rate. I sent them an email to see if they were really going to charge me. Got an email back the next day saying not to panic they will only charge me the discounted rate and it must have been a computer glitch (not seen the money come out my account yet)

When I got the codes sent (took a fair bit longer than expected) I didn't just receive the code for the full game but a second code with all the preorder bonus content as well.

As long as they don't take the full price out of my account I am very happy

That is, if you are playing with friends. Playing as the monster without friends is fine, too, but playing a hunter with randoms is nowhere near as fun in my opinion. The game was hugely misunderstood because of its DLC model, was wasn't that complicated but the gaming media failed to explain properly; there are three types of DLC here:a) new maps and modes, which are free to everyoneb) new characters which are released periodically - you have the choice whether or not to buy these and can play alongside other people regardless of whether they have them. There is no need to buy the new characters if you don't want to. This DLC model keeps everyone together, whereas the alternative would be to keep the new characters until next year and then release them as a separate game (Evolve 2) and alienate people who don't want to buy the sequel from people who want the new characters. To be clear, what Evolve has done is excellent in my opinion and shame on the gaming media for not putting this message across.c) cosmetic DLC - new skins, some of which require microtransactions. Apparently to buy "all the DLC" at launch would cost $200. People got confused and thought this referred to characters. It doesn't. These reskins are pretty lazy too (just different colours mainly) and are overpriced in my opinion - but just don't buy them! Plenty of games release skin packs e.g. Street Fighter IV and nobody cares, but these got mixed up with the character DLC in people's heads.

the extra characters and monsters were a rip off. the game should have had a dozen unlockable skins in the base game given how little content it had elsewhere, then at least i might have had some motivation to play it longer.

I actually think the game is really cool, but there wasnt enough incentive to keep playing.

This game is so boring played it when it was free.
