The Chinese version has 100w charging speed compared to 80w for global

49727888-Vt3nN.jpgIt states 100watts on the oneplus UK site. The 80watt is for the na market as someone else mentioned due to the 110v mains power over their.

I can get one of these with a trade in for the 16gb version for £559 with student beans 5% discount included.

Only thing that put me off is that it's using an older generation samsung oled panel. Gen 3 I think (edited)

Doesn't seem to be missing anything from the EU/UK version?

Does anyone know if this would work with the Barclays app? Tempted to upgrade from my Poco X3 Pro, and this looks ideal.

I'd be very wary of buying this Chinese version of the phone (even though I used to do the same thing all the time). People on XDA are warning of some DRM-style restrictions OnePlus implemented that stops any calls (including emergency calls) from working after a couple of weeks when the Chinese version of this phone is used outside of China: forum.xda-developers.com/t/w…39/

To add insult to injury, people are reporting that you have to send the phone off physically to a Chinese authorised center to get this restriction removed. I'd avoid this version of the phone for now or at least wait for an official workaround. (edited)

I read the same thing like a week ago and this is worrying tbh
  15. poops101's avatar
Since it's flashed with global rom, idk if there's a region lock implemented on this phone or not? XDA says if it's already flashed with a global rom, the region call lock will not happen.
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
My worry is that OnePlus can reintroduce the restriction via an OTA update -- or worse still, deliberately brick the phone at any time. They've never actively fought against Chinese imported versions of their phones like this before until now.

I talked to wonda mobile about the call blocking issue, they said no one has complained about the call blocking issue yet to them , so idk yet :/
    A_AhmedlTC's avatar
I spoke to them today as I read about this issue on XDA so was skeptical before ordering. They said the region lock has been sorted out and you shouldn't have a problem with phone calls not working.

I have the oneplus 10 pro from them with the flash international rom. No issues and get all the OTA updates and my google pay works flawlessly. If people are afraid then just pay the £250 higher value and buy it from Oneplus directly.
