OnePlus 3 - 64Gb - Unlocked - £336 at O2

Found 11th Nov 2016
This phone once was retailing at £329 - but is now out of stock with no ETA for when it will be available at that price again

I was looking for the OnePlus 3 and on most sites it's price was £400+ (amazon and eBay).

O2 are offering it on a monthly contract but they will not let you purchase it on PAYG.

However, if you select "Pay for your device in full" on their website what you can do is purchase the phone at £336 and take out any contract with it. As soon as you receive the phone and SIM you can call up o2 and cancel your contract leaving you with the phone at £336.

It is

You can pop into one of their stores and buy it unlocked for 336+ a payg sim which you can keep or just get rid of it and then put yours in. So, 346 in total unlocked

The successor is being announces on the 15th November so its best to wait right now.

I thought Chinese phones were half this price.

If you order online on the o2 website and collect in store you don't pay the £10 for the sim. The sim comes in the pack but you don't have to use it. I got this phone from o2 last month by doing what I have just written. Great phone

Fair point. Friends of mine have the P9000 Elephone, at approx. £180 it takes some beating. I just wanted to buy from a UK shop where I could take it back if needed repairing. My eGlobal-ebay-Taiwan edition learned me a good lesson, cheapest is not always bestest

Yeah, sure yours was made in London by the queen of England

This deal is colder than my partner's libido on a Sunday night before work.

The phone is due for replacement and is available in a few places for this money.

Get a redmi note 3 from aliexpress and put cyanogenmod 14 on it, it's awesome

Normal price on the oneplus 3 website its 329

I assume that was when they had PAYG option available online, which they no longer have.

Yeah on PAYG online

You should keep the lights off.

there's a slightly upgraded version of this phone being released soon - 821 snapdragon, bigger battery etc. Is that what you guys are expecting to be announced or a whole new phone?

Yes it's available directly from OnePlus for this price although the newer model coming out (OnePlus 3T with the 821 processor) is said to be costing an extra $80.

I was tempted, but even though it supports the 800mhz band 20 4G it will not be able to take advantage on that in the Three network or their SuperVoice (voice over LTE). Will still work on their 1800mhz 4G though and the 800mhz on the other networks.

or you can get it PAYG for £10 and not have to cancel. The £10 is a credit so sell it on eBay. well, that's what i did. Not really a deal but a good way to get one.

i doing think you need to pay for the £10 credit. when I ordered it, I had to choose a payg tariff but I was expected to add the credit after I receive the SIM card, which I didn't bother with.

Chinese phone at a fraction of the £336.
I think was less than $100. Almost 2 years old and going strong.

Just so you know, One plus 3 is getting a upgrade with with snapdragon 821(current one has 820) which is same as the pixel phone and a camera upgrade, and coming out as soon as 14th this month

I phoned my local o2 shop and asked them if the oneplus 3 was unlocked and they said 100% no. I asked if I could check before buying - again no.

Can anyone confirm if they are unlocked?

Why do you say a poor mans IPhone 7. I would suggest an intelligent mans or women's considered choice. I for one would not buy an IPhone for personal use at any price.

if u want hardware that isnt optimized for someone elses software, RAM (standard android issue) not being managed correctly so the RAM thats built into the phone is slow, an OS being android that gets laggy, apps crashing, these are facts, not an opinion also.

Enjoy...

This is just the standard retail price.

There was a deal on here a few weeks back for this same model for £320.

How is this a good deal when it's just the standard price and the One Plus 3T is being released in 1-2 weeks time?

COLD - wait for the price to drop (which it will), wait for the 3T, or buy something else.

Not sure if this price will drop significantly, phones are getting more expensive:
the Oneplus 3 was available for £309 initially but weak Sterling since Brexit pushed prices up

definitely not locked, me and my other half have one each, both bought on PAYG from an o2 store and both unlocked

What you say shows no justification for calling it a poor mans iPhone. In response to your comments. If you want a phone you have to pay a huge amount for extra memory, ( as opposed to an SD card) If you want a phone with no wireless charging, or choice of input options etc . Then buy an iPhone.

I dropped my HTC 10 in water and it's now dead and I hate HTC and rue the day I never bought an s7. I'm not prepared to fork out another 500 nicker on a phone at the moment any good suggestions for a decent android beast that isn't this?

i want a phone that works flawlessly, that doesnt lag after a while, where the RAM is optimized at its best, where apps load the fastest when numerous apps are open, i want software that isnt buggy, or crashes, thats why i choose iphone
