OnePlus 3T (128GB - Gunmetal) - Like New (Perfect Condition) - O2 Refresh - £312.00 (Potentially £305.99)

Just like the previous deals before but this time for the 128GB version.

Choose any tariff as none of them have an upfront cost. Pay for the phone plan in full once the contract has been set up on day one and then cancel the airtime on day two. Just say that the phone is good value for money whereas the airtime is not.

I've been thinking of getting this myself but I'm unsure whether to get one or wait for the next OnePlus device.

Just remember that if you are getting major credit for anything soon then it may be best to pass as you are basically taking a loan out for the handset and it will appear on your credit report.

*Edit - as mentioned by goRt in this thread, you can pay for the device upfront rather than taking the finance part of this. The airtime plan will still need to be taken but can be cancelled within 14 days.

*Edit - as mentioned by databar/Smartguy1, if you choose the finance option for the phone you pay £89.99 upfront and then pay it off shortly after. This will set you back £305.99.

I can't believe there are still people on HUKD who are unfamiliar with this (increasingly common) *Refresh* method/opportunity to get "Like new" refurbs from o2.

The first time I recall it coming up was over four years ago when I bought my iP5; amazing that it still confuses.

Still rocking a OnePlus 3. Apart from the recent Nougat update that seems to have trashed my (and other's) battery life to some degree, hands down one of, if not, the best Android handset I've owned.

Plus, they're one of the few OEMs that cover your warranty whether you root etc.

It looks like it. I'd get this if I didn't affect my credit file as I have a big purchase coming up at some point.

Plus, I'm interested to see what OnePlus do next.
Will this need unlocking ?

No, it comes unlocked already.

O2 have tried to tell people that it is locked but it definitely isn't.
Does anyone know if this comes with the Dash charger? I understand that O2 refurb phones come with the minimal ie just a charger cable. The Dash charger will set you back another £20 off Ebay if needed.
Good deal! Paid 471 with the top up brand new so this is quite a saving! Don't think you get the dash charger so factor this in.
Also available if you pay for the device upfront (£312) thereby avoiding the credit checks, etc. then just cancel the airtime

How do you do that?

I can't seem to find the option.

Just above "2. Your Package" is the option to "Pay for your device in full" with blue + to the left of it - this reveals the pay the £312 now options

Its going to be a real test for One Plus to see what they do next. The support for the 3 and 3T is excellent at the moment but what's going to happen when the 5 is released?

How do you get it for £312 and no airtime, i.e. £312 total, i cant get to a point where you can get rid of the airtime deal....

You can't get rid of the airtime, but you call up and cancel that part as soon as the phone arrives - no issue and no credit check
OK, ive tried to get this for £312 and you can't you still have to have an airtime deal so you get credit checked etc for that, title is a bit misleading as you can't get just the handset for £312

Nope, you cant do that, you have to apply for the airtime as its contracted - you need to do the usual credit checks etc and are tied into a £15 a month 24 month airtime contract, online chat just confirmed, there is no way to get this for £312 stand alone...

You can get the phone for £312 as you purchase upfront as mentioned by goRt.

You cancel the contract once you receive the phone and say it doesn't represent value for money but you are keeping the phone as it has already been paid for. Yes, you are credit checked for the phone (if using the finance option for the phone) and you are credit checked for a mobile tariff.

It's been mentioned on other O2 Refresh threads previously.

You can cancel anything under the consumer contract regulations, they just don't want you to do what you were suggesting
which.co.uk/con…ons
O2 chat are really unpredictable.... just came off chat and the operator confirmed that airtime contract can indeed be cancelled... so not sure how to decide as there is no definitive answer to O2 screwing up on this ....oO
I dunno about these deals,
No charger
No lead
No original box
No bumf
By the time you get the charger, its ton lite of a new one in Black
A few months down the line if you want to shift it, without the original box its harder.
Like someone said earlier the new device is due soon and Oneplus tend not to support their old devices very well. So if you have issues your going to be stuck with them for a good while and there are issues.

Can't see that mentioned anywhere? This meant to Perfect/Like New, so can't see how it can be missing all those items?

I want to do this for the 64gb one at £274.

Just worried about being stuck in a contract

Packaging and user guides

Like New phones are delivered in an O2 branded box. They don't come with the original packaging, a charger, headset, sim pin or user guide. If you need a user guide, you can find it on the manufacturer's website.

From O2 site....

How much does it cost to end your contract early on O2 Refresh? What do you charge for the leftover Airtime Plan?

With O2 Refresh, there’s no penalty for ending your contract early. All you have to do is pay off the balance of your Phone Plan.

There’s no termination charge for ending your Airtime Plan once you’ve settled your Phone Plan.

Watch the video onsite where they describe their definitions.
I contacted them yesterday and there is no speed/fast charging available unless you buy the genuine original oneplus charger which they do NOT give to you if you get this 'as new' so factor in another GBP 16...otherwise seems ok deal
Waiting to buy Oneplus 5. As soon as it starts selling, you may buy One plus 3T for new at same price as this refurbished one . Unless Brexit drops even more value of UK pound as it has done already.
Just grab a Lenovo P2 from three for £200 and enjoy your 3 day battery life. Unless you need the horsepower of this phone you'd be better served on a P2.

Having owned a string of 'premium' android since my Desire HD to an S7 I can tell you it's the best phone I've owned, bar none. Nougat coming this month too.
Does anyone know what you get in the box? Is it exactly the same as new so phone, Dash Type-C Cable and Dash Power Adapter?

I believe you need both a DASH charger and a DASH USB C cable to get fast charging to work, which makes it even more expensive.

Normal USB chargers and cables will charge the phone, but the charging speed is a lot slower.
