Yes I know it's a few quid cheaper on Oneplus website but they have stock issues with a 3 week wait so this is a no brainer and perfect for those who are after this just in time for Xmas. Be quick as stock levels will surely sell out for one of the hottest androids atm.

£456 - 2.3% Topcashback = £445.51
Or
£456 - 10% Student discount = £410.40

These phones comes factory unlocked sim free so no need to worry. Just wish I had some spare cash to get my hands on this baby. Think it's time to flog my s7 edge

Edit: As mentioned by various members it can be bought for £410.40 with a valid student card but seems only certain stores accepting it. Best to try out your local and be persistent and ask the manager to check the system as the transaction takes place. Looks like they can do it's more just the case of if they are willing to do it.

Very good price, only £6.51 extra to buying direct, and you get better customer service if the phone has any problems. I'm very tempted to replace my Oneplus One.

I'm thinking of replacing my Oneplus one too. Love this phone.

I has a oneplus two, bought it 2nd hand a bit ago for £140, great phone, just a tad on the heavy side, sold it recently, but isn't oneplus starting to remove one of there key benefits of been exceptional value for money, I can only see these dropping in price to a more china phone friendly price regardless of the currency exchange situation, too pricey, but of course excellent build quality.

Are these ones not locked to the O2 network?

Thx, I have pre-ordered via the 1+ website the 128b and due at the end of December. I don't have tcb and O2 is sh*t around here, so going to leave it with my pre-order I think.... Might go in and have a play though! Heated for the phone!!

Yes, they are NOT locked - discussed and confirmed on numerous occasions

Bought one a while back..(one plus 3). definitely the dogs wotsits...no bloatware, fast , charges to full in about an hour...only downside..as with other post . Got one a lot cheaper than this from one plus site.

Excellent phone although not as good value as it was previously... Only concern I'd have is OnePlus abandoning Android update (not nought but the following Android 8)...

Just bought one, thanks OP

Nope. Spec sheet is a bit prettier on this phone but doesn't really translate to better user experience in the real world.
Stick to the Edge I think

My brother bought the 64gb from O2 yesterday, it was £417.99 and then because it was bought on pay as you go, he had to buy a £15 top up, so this is only a few quid more for double the memory

Was really tempted with this phone as it's very good apart from just having a HD screen (like I have on my Galaxy S5 with a smaller screen already) and would want at least a quad HD screen mainly because I bought a VR headset recently.

Also I've heard the camera is not quite as good as some of the other top end phones and I do use that a lot.

Going to now wait and look into the OnePlus 4 or 5 (or whatever they decide to call it) in 6 months.

You've got a better screen, camera, waterproofing, micro SD support and a prettier design. No chance.

Camera on the one plus 3 is a bit of a let down IMO, not sure if they have improved it on this version - I sold an S7 edge to get this and the S7 edge is a better phone but doesn't have dual SIM which was important to me

I have a oneplus 2 and love it.

I have to say though, oneplus the vision, flagship devices at affordable prices. Oneplus the reality flagship devices at flagship prices. Shame but they are now encroaching on what is the price of every other handset on the market. While they are good handsets my oneplus two lacked some refinement in places that shows where you are saving the money, the camera being a huge part of this. Also trying to get it repaired after someone kindly broke it for me was nigh on impossible as it wasnt a major brand and no where repaired these.

Nope! I did just this and while the OP3 (non T) was a great phone they had to cheap out somewhere. The wifi and NFC chip was terrible and so android pay only worked if and when and the wifi dropped out ALL the time.

Stick to the edge.

So you have to buy a top up too?

Regardless of all the power its a paltry 1080p screen. id have expected at least a 2K screen for the money.
My 3 year old LG G3 has a 2k screen, when i placed it next to the One Plus3 the LG G3 won hands down.
Sure id love to buy the one plus model but for all the oomph it needs a better screen

Personally I would take the raw proccessing power and battery saving a lower res screen facilitates over the extra pixels that at normal usage you would barely notice, saying that the screen on the OnePlus isn't a particularly shining example of a 1080p panel really even compared with older Samsung 1080p Amoled screens.

just bought a P9 lite how much is this an upgrade.......

Just got one of these, good speedy phone and screen is good for 1080p.

The camera I find is a let down, doesn't compare to my S7 but the phone is cheaper.

That's a really good phone especially for the price. Battery life is amazing I use it as my Secondary but starting to like it more than my s7 edge

It is a fallacy that lower resolution means better battery life.

The resolution is not the point, it is just not a very good screen. Brightness is way down.

Just a heads up, Student discount works - bag yourself 10% off

I ditched my s7 for this and glad I did! Only thing the s7 is better for is camera! Although the camera on op3t is pretty good anyway

Overpriced this considering the one plus 3 was £300 at first. This is a very minor spec bump

Many would argue that the original oneplus 3 was way too underpriced so this is more than reasonable especially compared to other flagships

I'm a one plus 3 owner and have just bought my mother a p9 lite for Christmas. If value or price is the top of your list, stick with the p9. If quality is more important, go for the one plus. Just remember they are different devices at very different price points.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, OP. Now that I've learnt these phones are unlocked, I will be heading down to o2 tomorrow to get one since I don't want to wait for OnePlus's delayed delivery.

I'm also curious on the 10% student discount since the Unidays offers for o2 seem to be for accessories and refresh plans.

Hey can you explain how you went about getting the 10% student discount as an extra 45quid off would make this a steal

Sure! Most employees do not know about PAYG student discount, but it does exist. It is 10% off. Make sure they scan the phone and check as it is on there. Many employees will say there isn't, but there is - just force them to check (many will get angry because they're lazy...).

Picked mine up from o2 today and can confirm the phone is unlocked. Currently using a BT mobile sim card.

Is the student offer with unidays or do you just need to show a valid student card?

Picking mine up tomorrow, did they force a O2 SIM card down your throat with topping up?

They want £466 because you have to take a sim or top up.

In direct competition with the likes of flagship Google pixel XL but at Half the price so I'd strongly disagree with the above.
