i stand corrected, this is still cheaper and more ram etc

That's a big step up from the 3T price wise. Shame, was quite interested in it.

No warranty + possible custom charges... how this can be cheaper ?!... doesn't make any sense to spend that sort of money for a new phone from China anyway

OnePlus built their rep on high quality / low cost, spoilt with greed.

They haven't posted it in error. They just have a habit of creating listings based on leaked specs and rumors. They did the same for Xiaomi Mi Max 2, Mi Mix 2, Redmi Note 5

Whilst the Op5 is officially confirmed to be coming in summer, the specs are not official yet. For the Oneplus 3T, there is the China model, the North America model and the Europe/Asia model. Each with varying band support. The Op5 bands listed on Gearbest and these leaks for 8GB model suggest that it is China model so not sure why Gearbest are calling it "Global Version".

Everyone saying oneplus are greedy, they havnt even released the phone or announced the phone or the price I highly doubt it will be over £450 when it's released, this is just some china website that has a fake pre order with silly price slapped on

Having had the Op1 /2 and 3 I thought the 3T was a bit cheeky but the 5 at Samsung price i will skip it. I'm going for oppo find 9 when its released or get the Samsung 8 plus

Ordered, thanks OP.

don't order it, guarantee when it's on the oneplus site to buy it will be cheaper

It's just a placeholder listing. I'd wait until they've announced it, it's probably going to be far cheaper than that anyway direct from OnePlus and with warranty.

Most companies that start off selling stuff at reasonable prices try to 'move up the food chain' after a while - e.g. Skoda, Huawei, Hyundai, etc, etc. Even our local Poundland shop is now selling quite a few things that cost more than a pound.
The only retailer that I can think of that sticks to it's low-price offer is Primark.

Your spot on about poundland but I would disagree with you about primark perhaps some items like to shirts but most other items have increased quite a bit since they opened

I appreciate for being optimistic... Never back after One plus One.

wtf if one plus 5 will cost that much. it's no longer a flagship killer with lower price. They are actually risking it all by keeping this price tag.

Does not look like it has band 20 4G? Vodafone and O2 use this for most of their 4G network and EE and Three are increasingly using it (better for rural areas and building penitration).

I was hoping this phone would work out under £500 when it's released properly in the UK.

Also would have expected this to be a 128gb version for this price like the higher capacity version of the 3T (ok for some, but I like a little more space).

Just found this for anybody interested (have not read the whole lot, but they suggest it may be available cheaper elsewhere):

trustedreviews.com/new…led

Let's just hope they haven't been, ”courageous.”

The leak on GSMarena said $449 dollars so this price is not accurate at all at the moment. Worst case scenario straight conversation to £449.

I will buy the the B20 version directly from One plus or from O 2 . This is the Chinese version. Don't buy or preorder or you will definitely get burnt. Caveat Emptor.

That may be for lower spec version. But this is Chinese model not UK /EU model with B20 4G band.

Same here - will hang out for a little while longer with my aging Galaxy S5 and see what they price it at.

Wonder if it will support SuperVoice (voice over LTE) with Three like my S5 does, as I know there are only selected phones with Three's firmware along with a few others without?

There are totally different specs at OppoMart - oppomart.com/one…ml/

Both of the specs are just rumours at this point and not confirmed but I personally would trust Oppomart over Gearbest. There is no benefit buying this phone from Gearbest anyway, since it will be sold directly from OnePlus and O2.

I hope it will come with the QuadHD screen and 4,000mAh battery, but I doubt it about the battery. I don't think we will get any confirmation about the specs before June.

One Plus just another mobile manufacturer now and no way would I be paying that for something from gearworst

After all the problems I had with a oneplus 3 no chance I would touch it again!!!!
Now lost camera focus.... RMA again.. customer service as useless as it gets

"one plus, never settle". Having had the oneplus one, two (dad), currently using the three. The price is just stupidly high now. Will stick with with the oneplus three for now, then Xiaomi or oppo

VOLTE or voice over Lte is no big deal. All new 4g phones support it but some networks do not. I will still buy the Oneplus, 5 just not this Chinese version without B20.

why do you all think this is the actual price? its not even been announced yet

try samsung for support. even worse. warranty refused because they said screen burn was caused by me pressing too hard on the screen.

Like I say Three only Support it on certain phones (even if they have it they have to be on Three's list of supported phones (apart from the Galaxy S7 for some reason that is not on their list and works)).

For me VoLTE is a feature I would like as some places have no 3G, but I do get band 20 4G and can make calls over that.

No comparison between a Skoda and a Hyundai!
