HI,

Came across this in the forums on the oneplus.net whilst searching for info for the 5T.

This is a very good deal for a phone that was £450+ only a few months ago.

you must use the Code: GBFORUK60 to discount the price to £313.29 from 382.60

thanks

The code has expired anyway.

Keep away from this failure, plenty of better phones for the same price or cheaper already available and the new presumably 5t or whatever they call it this time is coming down real soon.

I'm still on the Oneplus one!! Love the phone but their price went flagship with the 5 at launch that's for sure, seems like a good deal.

Looking for something around the £200 price mark to replace a 2nd gen moto g

Have a look at the Xiaomi MI A1 it's around £165 at the moment, stock Android 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage, Snapdragon 625 Octa Core, excellent build quality. Just bought one for my Mum and she's over the moon with it.

Not sure how it's a failure. Every other flagship has had bugs that have been fixed on later models and I'm sure everyone can think of a example... Exploding batteries anyone.

I'm typing this on a op one so needed a upgrade as I've broken the digitiser after 3 years of successful use...

I lost my OP3 and was in the same boat. After trying a few others, the quality of the OP3 and software was enough for me to pay £266 for another OP3 from CeX. That 6GB Ram means this phone is still a beast and will good for years to come, unlike other £600+ 2017 flagships that only have 4GB Ram.

What have they fixed?
If it wasn't a flop they wouldn't have binned it inside 4 months
It was doomed from the day it was release with a 1080P 16:9 screen when the move to full screen had already started.

It's 1080p reversed screen was a failure, combined with the £500 price tag which easily can get you S8, resulted in discontinuation and clearance at £313 which is a whooping 40% price drop for just a few months of production.

I am on the same bought from Amazon last December in the sale for 199.99, very tempted with a oneplus 5 but a 1080p screen is a bit retro

Retro? LOL.

I still have a k800i in the car for emergency use, and a 7210 at the back of the drawer :-)

There will always be good offers for phones at the right time. The worst thing you can do is blow cash for full retail price on launch day.

1080p is more than enough for a 5.5 inch phone. Higher pixels than that on that screen is a marketing gimmick and you will hardly tell the difference unless you go super up close and squint and actually try to look for the pixels, otherwise 1080p is fine.

Have a look at the ZTE Axon 7 deal posted this week. Lots of phone for the money.

Yeah the people who buy OP devices keep saying this, even Apple have gone being 1080P with the X.
If that ain't telling you something nothing will.

iPhone X near 6 inches, the bigger the screen the more PPI needed for it to be not noticeable to discern the pixels from normal viewing distance. 1080p's PPI on a 5.5 inch screen is very good

Other oems have moved to full screen and have stayed with 1080p ppi.

You say the resolution increase is not noticeable, to who? You.
I've had a QHD screen for 3 years and I notice every time I look at a 1080p screen and when I put it next to a OP.
All the flagship OEMS now sport QHD, the people talking about 1080P are the people who buy OP's. That does not amount to any kind of significant buyers on the market.
