Don't you get bored of trolling every GB post?

And if you don't want to buy one from a Chinese seller, you can pop in to an O2 store and buy one.

Who in their right mind would "want " to purchase anything from this …Who in their right mind would "want " to purchase anything from this Chinese seller ?

Me and my whole family. They are rather good and represent excellent value for money compared with Samsung without compromising on power or quality. They are as near to vanilla Android as you can get without buying an overpriced Google Pixel handset.

Good deal, great phone, have some heat
Ps please can people stop calling this a phablet. It's smaller than an iPhone 6\6s\7\8 plus, and no one calls iPhones phablets.

I think the point being made was about the seller's credentials, not the phone's.

It's gearbest that call it a phablet people just c&p from there.
Great phone but there's no way I'd buy anything over £20 from gearbest

Anyone know the landed price after duty etc ?

I've never been charged anything, I've always selected cheapest, slowest shipping method (the free one)
The way I look at it, I've had so much stuff over the years if I ever had to pay, I'm still up,
Some random stuff over the last few year,

Would this have global warranty direct with Oneplus?

Would this have global warranty direct with Oneplus?

Most likely no. Any faults and you will need to send it back to gearbest and keep your fingers crossed for it to get sorted
Unfortunately phone still has not got oreo update despite being promised at launch
Can anybody that has this phone lmk if it still has the obnoxiously loud vibration like the OnePlus 3?

Not being able to watch streaming sites in HD on the 5t is a stupid omission by one plus. Deal breaker for me.

You're right, I like to point them out for what they are though,

Don't buy this phone before watching VoloKin Project honest review and camera tests in this phone. Apparently is not the same bang for your buck as it used to be back in the day.
For around £60 more, get the 8GB/128GB variant.

Or if you really want, you can invest in their latest model with the exact same design as the 3 year old one.....

I'm talking screen size. All the lard round the screen is irrelvant.

Well its not irrelevant at all is it. The iPhone plus is a massive phone with a tiny screen. In 2018 the bezel size is more relevant than than the screen size
Good luck if you receive a faulty item or need a refund... Useless company
Guys is it safe to buy phones from gearbeast?
Anyone know how long the warranty is for this if purchased directly from Oneplus? I can't find the answer on their site. Thanks

bgr.com/201…pp/

In October 2017, a researcher caught OnePlus silently collecting all sorts of data from its users. Now, a new report says that there's still a OnePlus app that can grab data from the phone and send it to servers in China without a user's knowledge or express consent. BGR reports:
The French security researcher hiding behind the name Elliot Alderson on Twitter detailed OnePlus's data collection practices back in October, and he has now discovered a strange file in the OnePlus clipboard app. A Badword.txt file contains various keywords, including "Chairman, Vice President, Deputy Director, Associate Professor, Deputy Heads, General, Private Message, shipping, Address, email," and others. The file is then duplicated in a zip file called pattern alongside six other .txt files. All these files are apparently used in "in an obfuscated package which seems to be an #Android library from teddymobile." Now, TeddyMobile is a Chinese company that works with plenty of smartphone makers from China. The company seems to be able to recognize words and numbers in text messages. And OnePlus is apparently sending your phone's IMEI number to a TeddyMobile server, too. It looks like the TeddyMobile package might be able to grab all sorts of data from a phone. Even bank numbers are apparently recognized.
OnePlus has yet to issue a statement on the matter.

Other chinese phone manufacturers are know for similar activities.
paid £500 for mine which is the 128gb version and that was late november directly from oneplus.....worth every penny! absolutly brilliant phone.
