Cant comment on the 5T but had the 3T until I dropped it and smashed it pretty badly. It was a great phone, therefore heat added.
5T is by far my top favourite OnePlus phone ever released, its the thinner even compared to the 7. The finger sensor behind it was super fast as well. Tempted to sell my 7 and go back to 5T. it also still had a headphone jack RIP

Agreed still have mine and love it
Can't beat the 5t, my first OnePlus phone and hopefully the only one I'll ever need, it still exceeds even a few years later love it!
Damn good phone, got it at launch and would recommend to anyone.
Still rocking mine just now. Would recommend the 128gb version tho.
One of the all-time great phones. Would love a red one.
Is this phone still getting update or need to flash custom ROM
Showing as still about 10% stock left but after clicking the only colour available nothing else is in stock.

Android 10 coming next year and will be the last major update... Should still get security updates for a while yet..
Brilliant phone.
Great phone still getting updates and still as fast as you need for normal use.
I'm using a 5T right now it's great, battery isn't amazing though. Probably the best phone I've had despite that. Great OLED screen and impressive specs, snappy speed and no lag.

The handset I got from Envirophone wasn't in the best condition, lots of paint missing from the metal back but I've slapped an official case on it so that's no problem.

Screen was perfect however. If you haven't got a fast charger you'll need to get one to get the benefits of faster charging.

Still in stock and codes also working
I used to work in a company, which refurbish phones. I would prefer "used" instead of "refurbished".
Recently got the 5T 128gb for the wife from CEX for about £200 with 2 years warranty. Really good phone and quite jealous how fast and responsive it is. I would buy one if it wasnt for having a company phone

There is no difference with these places..
They don't open phones, xbox's or anything else and "refurbish" them...
Refurbished the term should be banned by the advertising standards people

How worried should I be on the battery of a refurbished phone? Will it be significantly wors than release?

Naturally it won't be as good as a new one. It depends how it's been used. Is somebody used to play games, or watch videos on the phone, the phone had to be charged more often. One of OEM provides a warranty on the battery for 1 year, but up to 500 charging cycles only. The battery gets older and degrades. They may even test the battery, if it's still "within the range", but no way it will be as good as a new one. Hence the price.

I used to work in such a place, hence I can tell there are companies, who refurb phones. I would rather have scratched phone, then a phone opened by "somebody".

They don't open them...... Take game consoles, if they did open them on a regular basis without a Microsoft or Sony or Nintendo tech, they would find themselves in court fairly quickly..
Still had my 5T up until the P30 pro deal went up last week. Amazing phone had it for 2 years with no faults

Face recognition and fingerprint scanner was super quick, amazing battery life as well.

These repair centers are approved by the OEM. I used to work in one of them. Then they sell these products to shops / carriers and they sell them as "refurbished". Hence that label.
As a technician I can only repeat myself - I would prefer to buy "used" item instead of "refurbished". However - with these products (refurbished and used etc.) you always risk, there will be water damage / signs of liquid ingress, because you are not the first owner. And now guess, what would happen, if a fault would occur on your phone (or anything else) and you would want to claim warranty.
