How hard is to flash it to international?

    Looks very straightforward :-
    1. Download ROM from their website on PC
    2. Copy to root drive of phone
    3. Start phone in recovery mode & select the ROM from internal memory.

    Instructions from OnePlus:-

    Forget it to much hassle.
For this price, I would much rather this phone than any other around this price bracket.
I've had a 5T since release, battery is amazing, screen size and quality is fantastic, it's a really thin phone which I find to be gorgeous, a lot of these alternatives from Moto/Xiami are a lot thicker and feel less prestige. The finger print sensor is instant it's actually scary, as soon as you get close to touching it, it turns on already unlocked (non of that screen click screen on first then tap finger print sensor bullshiz).
The phone has so much going for it, you won't know until you've owned one, everyone that talks bad about the phone hasn't even seen the phone in person, honestly, go to an O2 store and see it for yourself before you judge, it has everything I need in a phone and I can happily say it's the best phone I've ever owned (so far).

Not a major issue but it's the Chinese version when it arrives and you'll have to flash the international rom onto it.

    Warranty, band 20, customs etc.
Looks like a good deal - any idea if flashing a different rom onto it voids the warranty?

Oneplus 5t has all bands. There isn't any model with different bands.

I have this phone for last 5 months and it is one of best Android phone. I prefer stock android experience and this is closest one after Pixel. I had issues with camera earlier but that is ok now with software updates.
There is cheaper and there is better. What's wrong with a Moto 5GS or Honor 9 Lite at half the pricethat are no faff? Also no risk of confiscation at customs. There is also a risk of bricking the phone if the new ROM gets corrupted. Buy in the UK from a proper supplier, simples. It's getting a little chilly in here

    Xiaomi mi 6. Cheaper/better.
I owned oneplus 3t and 5, firstly, flash a international rom is very very easy on oneplus and dont need root.
secondly, this company "joy buy" is the international version of jingdong, it is a very decent company in china.
    it is like chinese amazon.
    heat add.
How did you get this price for the 128gb shows up as £359 the 64gb comes to this price not the 128gb? Also its either 6 gb 64gb or 8gb 128gb i think you mean the 64gb not the 128gb.

Actually closest one to stock Android after pixel is Nokia.

My Nokia 8 is on 8.1.0 with April 2018 security patches.

I believe it's better value than 5t which was my second choice when I bought Nokia 8 in November 2017.

I chose Nokia 8 as it has micro SD slot, quad hd screen, completely stock Android with no skin.
Camera software issues have all been resolved in android 8.1 update so don't even use the pixel camera app any more.

You can get it for £300 everywhere in UK with 2 year warranty.

Never heard of this company, What delivery company do they use when it arrives in the uk? Not worth it if your going to get stung by customs.
Fantastic price. Even if it does have Chinese ROM it's only going to take half a hour tips to flash international. Well worth it to save £150 over the UK price.
(Just to note the oneplus 6 will be released in the next 2/3 weeks)

Genuinely looking for a decent phone in the sub £200 bracket, so was interested in these 2, but neither have nfc, so aren't really comparable.

Anyone else want to comment on this? The Nokia looks pretty good on paper and stands up as a good competitor for the 5T?
After flashing the international ROM, can you get updates normally or do you have to flash them again?

The Honor 9 Lite does have NFC i managed to use one for a week before i could not bear the unresponsiveness compared to my old oneplus 3. Moved to a mi mix 2 and have to say its 10x better then the Honor 9 Lite.

what warranty? - I've asked Oneplus in the UK and they will only help you if you have bought from their authorised dealers. You will get 30 days then nothing

The 5t is a better phone with better performance, battery, charging and experience.

The ROM won't corrupt, always recoverable. OnePlus don't voice warranty and fully support user ROM installations.

Decent sized company but at 40 billion dollars valuation a little behind Amazon
FWIW i've just ordered a Sharp Aquos S2 phone from JoyBuy and there was a minor problem with the shipping address and they phoned me up to explain. I was impressed with the service. Mind you, be even more impressed if they spoke better english but fair do's they showed willing.
    hmm,
    oneplus 5t 64gn for £300
    or
    honor view 10 120gb for £340 (https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/honor-view-10-android-599-4g-lte-sim-free-128gb-blue-at-john-lewis-33900-2925910)
    or
    wait for Mi MIX 2s?

i know that the honor doesnt have image stabilisation so the oneplus can take better video and photos at low light, but overall both are great phones for the price
This or the Pixel 2 Xl??
    Shows £313 for me.
