Oh I might aswell while I’m here, so here goes.

Cold. No microsd. No usb 3.1. Only phone without usb 3.1 at this price. No alternate display mode, don’t give your money to Chinese *insert names here* I rather buy the Poccophone than Oneplus .
I'm guessing the people voting hot on this are employees of banggood with fake accounts.

Abysmal deal. You spend £50 less to be hit with more than £50 worth of customs charges in addition to having no warranty.

Go with JL or Amazon for £50 more and have next day delivery along with a 2 year warranty.
Dunno if it's me, but I don't understand these "deals"? To potentially save less than 10% on a phone, that could be hit for customs charges, would be a nightmare to deal with if there were any issues with it (been there, done that with China - expended hours, if not days), no warranty... I like a good deal like the next HUKD'ser, but when you're talking £500 I'd just buy it here for the peace of mind... Unless I'm missing something?

I wouldn't imagine there being warranty... Probably
I got my 8GB Midnight Black 6T delivered yesterday if anyone has any questions.
Love all these Chinese phones but they're all HUGE! If anyone can point me in the direction of a more compact model , as in less than 140 mm high I'd really appreciate it. Closest Ive seen is the Mi 6 at 146 mm and isn' t exactly cheap! Choice in the UK seems to be Galaxy A3 or the much more expensive Sony xz compact, so would appreciate any advice. Course there's always a Galaxy S7 on flea bay....
Hot, by the way!

Galaxy S8 for just over £300. I'm sure the S9 must be under £500, less if bought used.
Cheers pal, I think I might opt for the s7. It's cheaper, smaller and will do everything I need.
Not worth the small saving versus buying in the UK with a student discount IMHO.

I agree, but I bet not everyone is a student on here, me included.

So this is the next reasonable price.

I do, 60GB of music and a full photo set is about 40GB and I keep about 30-40GB of offline maps, plus a few random 10s of Gigs for other random stuff. The Memory card is essential as well as the best phone for offline GPS and best screen for viewing in bright sunlight and fantastic battery life. I really don't need 8GB of ram or a particularly powerful processor.

60GB of music? How many songs do you know of?
Offline Maps is pretty easy to add/delete.
Photos and videos can be easily transferred.
It's the way tech is going.

With you wanting that much stored on your phone, I think you do need the extra RAM.

Why would I need extra RAM for storing 150-200GB of media on an SD card? 8GB is basically useless fora phone as they aren't the best multi tasking devices.. Just checked and rocket player seems to use about 140MB, and my picture viewer about the same. I do notice a difference moving from a 1GB RAM device to a 2GB device though.

Have you noticed that people.with 6GB / 8GB devices just subjectively feel like they are faster or talk about keeping apps in memory. It isn't like having to page in your program on an old UNIX server from a really slow hard drive 25 years ago (after having the tape robot restore your files you hadn't touched for an hour). Even if you really are using 25 apps.concurrently it will still page in really quickly these days and the OS itself does a great job of keeping the stuff you need in memory these days anyway.

50GB of music is about 700+ albums at a mix of.128kbs - 320kbs MP3.

Fascinating... Of that 60GB, how many of the songs do you actually listen to if you're being 100% honest?

Same with the images I'd guess?

I used to be the same with my Galaxy Note 4 but my music is all now sitting uploaded to Google Play Music which I used in combination with Spotify streaming at Extreme Quality.

My photos and videos are all kept nearly in Google Photos and Google Drive.
Not an iPhone XS so cold from me
Think u can buy 256gb version from OnePlus website.
Great phone, would of got it if I hadn't already had the 6! Super fast!
Cold. Not a grand iPhone.

Best price around but personally I rather spend £50 more and get it from amazon with 2 year warranty.

Some users keep music in FLAC to play from a HiFi output like their car or expensive headphones, that piles up quickly. Most people can't hear the difference though. With pictures, RAW photos end up taking up a lot of space, movies, 4K takes a huge amount as well. Plenty of uses for additional storage. The days of storing apps on MicroSD is over though, unless you count TWRP and Titanium Backup.

These people are literally the < 1% of smartphone owners, who usually have the largest voice on these threads. 128GB is plenty for the other 99%.

Cloud is the future - especially since you can store photos on Google Photos, and music on Google Play Music. 40GB of offline maps is completely unnecessary, what with your phone data working all across Europe and sometimes the rest of the world (with companies like Three Mobile doing unlimited data for £25 or 100GB for £19)

Hot deal, thanks OP!

This looks like a great to phone to buy. Glad I've waited and didn't pick up the 6. Nice deal too.
