Me personally, I think getting a OnePlus was one of the best purchases I've made in the last 3 years.
Chose the brand when the 3 was released and decided to upgrade to the 6 that was released last year.

Regular updates, good forums and feedback seems to be listened to.

Unlimited everything including data![Image]

That's just over £1200 though

Yeah, I know. But worth at least considering if you're a heavy data muncher.

Actually, scrap that. They're doing a SIM only 24 month unlimited everything for £11 pm for first 6months, then £22pm for the remaining 18.

Which works out to roughly a £210 premium for getting the handset with the benefit of paying in installments.

Do it, I've come from Samsung and won't be going back, faster and the os is so much cleaner and more customizable then the updates put Samsung to shame

Nice spot, they have something similar over at Bang.....and I was contemplating a flirt. But I'm still getting notification from the ghost touch thread the latest on a 2 day old device, this makes the risk is just too high for me.
I know it won't match the hype but i wanted to see how close it could get.
I voted hot for a change, on a more realistic price against that of the RRP.

Why do you people always talk about Samsung in a OP thread?
I currently still have a Samsumg( global unlocked ) and I can tell you I've seen more updates than any OP device.

Carrier devices never see all the updates because the carriers can't verify them quick enough, go.to Sammobile and you will see exactly what was issue against what you received.
I can't believe people still dont know what is really going on, ask US T-mobile owners what updates are like and why they are flashing the global rom.

The OP7 pro will never be on the current security patch under OP's update schedule and at the maximum you will be 3 months behind, that is nothing to shout about.
Neither are the continual bugs

At one point on security patched
OP6 3 month out of date
OP5 5 moths out of date
OP3/T also 5 months or more out of date.
That really is going to put Samsung to shame when an survey put them amongst the best.

I'm on the 7 and got June security update, during June I had Mays security update and my mate with the 6 seems to have the same. Samsung were always at least 3 moths behind
Right, this is mostly nothing to do with the deal (which is a good one!), but why do so many companies use ROM to signify the internal storage? ROM stands for Read Only Memory, memory that is fixed and cannot be overwritten - but the internal storage on a phone or tablet is the exact opposite, you can read AND write to it. It makes no sense! It's not just sloppy websites - I have a Huawei tablet box in front of me, and that does the same thing.. even manufacturers are using the term.

Am I missing something? Does ROM have another meaning that makes actual sense??

Agreed, I get monthly patches in the month they're for.
What are the chances of being charged custom fees??

Quite small from gearbest, but never rule it out.
Excellent deal, heat..

I ordered one last week from Amazon Italy the 12 GB RAM

Not been delived yet due 19th. I went to the three shop last week to mess about the phone but the phone was dead. The guy in the shop couldn't switch-on for some reason.. I have been watching Lords of YouTube videos about this phone most reviews say this is the best phone of the year up to now...

I'm gonna get the phone either way but I'm in two minds whether or not to get the S10 Plus...

I've had every one since the original Oneplus 1 (skipping the 'T') up until the 6 which I skipped to wait for the 6t.

They've evolved as a company but whilst ever they're at least 2-300 less than the equivalent Samsung, I'd happily stick with them.

That said, they've put themselves under the spotlight with the 7 Pro because it's a direct competitor to the S10+, so they can't get away with claiming they're a cheap brand to explain away any shortcomings (again I've read the camera isn't up to snuff this tine around for example).

Also it looks like Xioami (is that how you spell it?) have sort of taken the Oneplus mantle and I've been seriously considering trying one out.

Anyone thinking the same? Or better still has anyone done it and can draw a comparison between them please?

I just don't get OP owners the facts are there and they still make up stories. Your device has been out for a month.
OP update schedule is bi-monthly, the 7 due to its recent release saw the June patch on the 29th of June and your try to make out OP push monthly updates when they have stated Bi-monthly and this has been case for almost a year?
SO when will you see the next one? August if you are lucky with the 7 Pro on May

Just to establish some facts.

I don;t get the big issue with security updates as unless you work for MI5 or similar you've probably got far more chance of being mugged or run over crossing the road than being hacked because you months security patch is slightly out of date. If you want a device which will be slowed down by software buy a Samsung if you want the fastest Android device buy a OnePlus, unless you work for MI5 or similar.

The size of the 10e is very convenient day to day. OnePlus is like Note size. If that's a non issue however... 🤷
