Just spotted this whilst looking at the Pixel 4 deal. Yes it's a little more that the Pixel with current cashback deal. But for those who want the OnePlus, a very good price.

It's been this price for a while mate. Waiting for oneplus 8 to be released next month to see real price drop and maybe then I get this 😁

The selfie pop up camera looks a bit flimsy, like it'll fall off with enough use. Scorching otherwise. I am typing from my OP 3T which is still going solidly strong after all these years.

It really doesn't, in person its an extremely well made and solid phone. The camera on mine is barely moves when wiggled and they've taken enough precautions with drop detection and so fourth that it'll easily last the life of the phone. There have been next to no reports of it failing, if it was going to be a big issue then it would be news everywhere. Plus you'd be covered by the 2 year warranty so its going to last at least that long with several daily uses.

For me I find the pop up camera is the best implementation of the selfie camera to date. I'd rather a full uninterrupted screen over anything else currently in a mainstream phone. Until we get under glass cameras that are invisible I'm happy with it over a notch.

If there was a negative to the 7 Pro for me it wouldn't be the selfie camera; it would instead be the extremely curved edges on the sides of the screen and the average battery with 90Hz on but beyond that I'm happy to recommend it.

It is actually very sturdy and reliable, and the privacy it provides is the best underrated feature of this phone IMO.

Nice feedback, cheers. How long have you had yours then?
Price will drop a lot more when the 8 is out however all signs show they're going to stop using the pop up camera for a hole punch with the k30 pro looking like it's going to be one of the only flagship devices using the pop up camera

Actually they made the pop up camera pretty solid.

Watch the video on YouTube OnePlus 7 pro camera durability test.
These are solid phones.... IV had the oneplus 3T .... Now using OnePlus 6T
Never had any problems with it.... The 3T was still going strong other than bit of battery drain but that is expected from an aged phone.
Would definitely recommend OnePlus to other users.

It isn't and won't. Mine rock solid.

I'm tempted to upgrade from the 1+5 (before that the 1+1) but nothing has gone wrong in near 3 years (apart from dash charge no longer registering)

Only the WiFi really drained the battery. As long as you don't overcharge the battery, usually at 80 percent and don't let it drain to zero looks after it well. Mine's in a very good state being used intensively every single day.
Good luck getting this on click and collect....
Sod it. This was too good a deal plus the support of having JL customer service was not something to pass up. Can people recommend a good case for this bad boy as I've bought it for the missus? I've got Poetic for my old 3t, but the poetic for the 7 Pro doesn't seem to have a front cover to fit over the screen. I have found this to be a good send. Any tips anyone?

It comes with a clear case, which is very good quality and I use a tempered glass screen protector. I got a case on which the cutout is not big enough for the slider on side, it was really awkward to use it, so I sent it back.

I usually pay a good amount of money for a case to properly look after my phone. It really is worth it, there are websites comparing them, I just wonder if people have any first hand experience with some good quality cases.

If you are after a quality leather case, the Tetded Genuine Leather Case you can get from amazon for about £20 is really nice, especially good for the value. Note tho there isn't enough of a front lip for a thick tampered glass screen protector, but other than that it is very good.

Thanks but I would go for a robust polycarbonate case or something. That's the best for shielding a phone that falls out of your hands every so often, especially on hard surfaces and with pre-schoolers around!

Try the Ringke Fusion-X, that's my outdoor/ activity case, pretty sturdy imo, dropped it a couple times on pavement but it kept my phone undamaged.
Is this for the single or dual sim version.?
