Good deal
Anyone went to one of these from a mate 20 pro?! Fancy the 8 as I do like the curved screen tbh, but you have to go for 256gb to get green which is an extra 100 quid

Hehe. Looks like they're trying to shift those last few 7T units.

Must be.
Blue is this price too now...ordered and arriving tomorrow Hoping it lives up to the m20p 😬
5 monthly payments available for me - tempted. There's also some available in the warehouse, if saving a few pounds is really that important for you. Heat.
Gone for it at last. 5 monthly payments didn't show up but gone on my cashback amex so that's something at least Can't wait to ditch my original pixel xl i've had since launch
Just wondering what the differences would be between buying this via Amazon as opposed to direct from One Plus if that was possible?

Can get split payments with Amazon (which is not finance unlike using Klarna with Oneplus direct).

Amazon customer service has always been outstanding for me, so I'm confident buying it from them more so than direct!
I've gone for this, couldn't decide over this and the pro version ( @ John Lewis)

But £100 cheaper, 5 easy payments, and Amazon customer service, and I can have it tomorrow 😁
Thanks OP
John Lewis giving 4 months paypal. This seems better with the 5 months
5 monthly payment option no longer seems to be available

It appears to be mainly people who have purchased big ticket items from them in the past for example over £200 plus, and also from what I can read on US Forums, if you regularly change the payment card option or just an occassional buyer, buying the odd item under £50 on your account, that makes them look at you less favourably too.

Its very much used as a carrot and stick approach to keep the loyal big spenders coming back to Amazon and make them feel like they are being rewarded.
Went for it, 5 monthly payments option sealed it, so useful that. Contact for my s8 was finished off yesterday so will be good to pay this off in 5 months rather than paying 02 for three years
Mines arrived today...screen looked so dull compared to my m20p and I don't notice any difference with 90hz....was almost getting sent back until I changed the colour temperature. Face unlock is really quick and the fingerprint scanner actually works consistently overall a really nice phone for the money.
Turned out better than expected. I bought one from Amazon Warehouse to save some cash. It arrived yesterday but 2 boxes turned up. One was my 7T (perfect condition. Well happy with it!) and the other had an Oppo Reno 10x zoom in it. I decided to do the right thing and let Amazon know... They told me to keep it or dispose of it

You do you but I'd sell it and put it to a worthy cause - Amazon won't miss it, put it that way.

Fair comment. I may well make a contribution to a good cause.
It's crazy how much profit Amazon must make.
