When I finally decide to upgrade from my aging pixel 2 I've told myself to either get another pixel (except the 4) or a OnePlus as I can't justify today's flagship prices of £700+ for my use case

Had this since launch and it's still getting the latest updates , looked after the battery as best I can so although it's not great for battery a quick 30 minute top up whenever needed goes a long way

This is a great price for a phone that is more than enough for most people's daily usage

Great one... is this cheaper than the previous two deals? One was with a bundle a month ago and another on black Friday ...

Typical.

Your posted deal is still good, but in these days toilet rolls are much valuable. We need some good toilet roll deals. That should be on the home page straight away.

Washable too.
What's the camera like on this mate compared to that 20x?

Not massively worse mate, I was expecting it to be, I'm not a massive photo taker to be honest, video actually seems better to me as well.

can you use student discount on this deal also?

I'd imagine so yeah
Hoping that the 7T Pro will hit around this price in the next couple of months. For a non-selfie-taker like myself the trade-off of limited uses on the front-facing camera versus an all screen display is more than worthwhile. Not interested in the upcoming offering due to the punch-hole selfie camera.
Been looking at the OP 7T. I'm tempted but i've also read some horror stories too!
It's a fab phone, really enjoyed mine. Onto a Samsung galaxy note 10 now but just because I'm a serial changer. Highly recommend this device

Ambient Display not working
Auto brightness not being bright enough or forgetting the users selection
Weird RAM Management

Also seen a few saying the back of the phone seems quite weak and can be prone to cracking

Sadly not. One code per order. Just tried it myself.

Ambient display working flawlessly on mine, I don't use auto brightness so couldn't comment, ram management is fine as well. And it's in a case so....
This is a very good price from a UK based seller
I got an email from them today with a £50.00 off using code SAMEONEPLUS only for the 7T ' for anyone who it may be of help to'

It's also available via their website. In not in the market for the 7 but more the 8 to see what the final specs are.

Yeah the auto brightness does not work properly. In the past my OnePlus phones have RAM management issues and the apps reloaded all the time. I am not sure how is it now. The last OnePlus I used was the 5T.

Hoping for a good price on Pro version of some kind, having a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp, I almost never use the selfie cam so be nice to have that unspoiled screen.
Auto brightness used to work flawlessly on my OnePlus 6 until the Android 10 update, on the OnePlus forums people are saying it's an issue with Android 10 and not OnePlus. Since this is the only phone I've used on the latest version of Android I can't comment on how true that is

Android 10 is out for a while now and still have not been fixed this problem...not good Oneplus.
But if it is a general issue in the Android 10 build then there's probably not s lot OnePlus can do about it, be good to hear from people who are running the latest version of Android but on other phones to see if they have the same problem. If they don't then we can blame OnePlus

It is not a general Android 10 issue. Auto brightness works fine on my all Android 10 phones.
Can you remove the Digital wellbeing from the 7T? As you cant from the S9.

Why not. Just disable the app and it will go away.

OnePlus 8 5G's will be around £1,000, this is a bargain if you want one of the last Snapdragon flagship 4G phones for a reasonable price.

Particularly if you can get it for around £475 with the student discount.
