Cold for me, the Xperia 1 at over £100 cheaper is the way to go.

You shouldn't vote a deal cold because you don't like the product! This is the cheapest Oneplus 7t offer I've seen in the UK from a reputable seller, £50 cheaper than when I was looking just yesterday! Has to be hot 🔥
Think I may be headed in this direction when my Mate 20 X no longer cuts the mustard for me.
Much as I have loved my past 2 Huawei phones, the lack of Google Play Services has lost them my future custom.
Been eying this up this morning. More than i wanted to spend but my one plus 3t is slowly dying now!
I bought this from wowcamera for about £470 about 2 months ago. Amazing phone. Don't miss my Galaxy Note 4 at all. Oxygen OS is quite simply sick. No need to root as all the customisation I want is native. 90hz screen is a game changer. My kids don't like playing on their own devices anymore because they say it is too slow. Spoilt kids used to 90hz phones and 144hz pc gaming, and they don't even know they have become too snobby for 60hz.

Fantastic price although I'm more a fan of a curved display might have to wait for the oneplus 8 Pro hopefully not too much longer
Great phone although the camera calibration isn't the best, so I've been using Gcam. It only works for the main sensor and sometimes struggles with focus but great for video where the OP camera software tends to have darker and less detailed videos. You also get more colour and tone accurate selfies for anyone that takes a lot of those, as well as night mode.

I'm dreading having to replace my Mate 20 X one day, I don't want to have to go back to smaller screens and I doubt any of the other big players are going to be ballsy enough to make anything with a display this big for a long time yet!
Dropped my Pixel 2 xl the day I was supposed to return it for a replacement. Of course the screen smashed. I was looking at the used note 9 for 274 but I do miss the days of my 3t. Totally out of the loop in phone tech lately. Is this a worthy upgrade?

Similar ish situation except with my s9+. I'm wondering if this would be a sidestep at all or an upgrade/downgrade. My battery needs replacing and I don't really see the point if my screen is cracked (albeit it still works perfectly)

It will hold up better than the Note 9 for sure.

I have the 7T Pro, it's an awesome phone, but as this is 7T its not 5g.

Any idea on release date?
basically, it is £30 quid cheaper to the actual OnePlus website. Hmmm not a bad reduction but not GREAT!!! Still heat as this is the cheapest in the UK.
I'm hoping some decent reductions or a decent price on the 8 :/
I sincerely hope OnePlus uses common sense with its pricing in the future :/
Do I finally cave and bite.
I know this question may seem silly and asked loads .. but on reviewing the CN flashed versions .. minus the warranty and delivery times .. would anyone side with waiting another couple weeks to see of alixexpress came down more... recent offer £371 is v low .. i understand benefits of buying from Amazon etc
Bought this off amazon last week for £540 - any idea if I speak to customer service will they refund the difference to save me returning and re-purchasing?
Is it worth upgrading from 5T which is still going strong?

Definitely speak to them and see what they say. Sometimes they do it automatically. Sometimes you have to call up and they refund the difference. Sometimes they actually advise you to return and buy again.
Great price for this and direct from a reputable seller as well. If I didn't already have the 7T Pro I'd be buying for sure.
Just a word to people wondering about biting now or waiting for 8. If the leaks are to be believed both the 8 and 8 Pro have curved displays so if a flat screen is a must (or at least a preference) then the 7T is your last chance it would seem barring any potential 8 'Lite' but that doesn't seem to have been confirmed yet.

Seems they only offer return and re-purchase in my experience. Including one time the price dropped 20 minutes after purchase but it was too late to cancel.Had to purchase again and return the first.

Where do you see this? I see the Xperia 1 still £849 everywhere...
Cheapest right now, but still only £80 cheaper than its retail price 5 months ago. Very tempting, but maybe I'll go for the 7T pro once it drops to around £500 or this at around £400. Otherwise the OnePlus 8 will be a newer, more future-proof device. If 5g takes off in a year, I wouldn't want to be stuck with a 4g phone. Decisions decisions...

Thank you
Anyone put off by no SD card slot? Or am I worrying and should set up Google photos or something?

I used to rave about Sony phones and have had 4 but they simply have not been competitive for many years now. The Xperia 1 has poor battery life, a poor stills camera and dim display. When I couple this to the really poor support that now comes from Sony on their smartphones, the extra £100 for this looks like a bargain.

Looking to be mid April but not confirmed yet

I thought the mid April date was when they were going to officially announce the phone so it would take a good week or so after that before they start selling it in the UK

It seems to do rather well against the iPhone 11 Pro Max in a review I watched today. Still and video looked ok to me and would be on par with the OP at worst.
What do you mean by poor support, in a article I read they where at the top for security updates only bettered Google and Samsung, every other leading brands was worse.
At over £100 less for a 4K Amoled with SD support and IP68 an hour here and there on battery life I could suffer.
The Sony is at the price the OP should be at with the 8 launching in 2 weeks time.

Oneplus 8 Pro is going to use the same camera sensor at the oppo find x2 Pro so use that as comparison to camera quality to get some idea

That's a completely different phone so I don't see what point you're trying to make? The price is good for THIS PHONE vs other places selling THIS PHONE, no?
