I believe this is the second cheapest it has ever been, only £10 more than its lowest price.

sorted byI've had the pixel 6 pro, galaxy s21+ and this. The pixel and the galaxy take slightly better photos but in real life there's not a lot in it - they're all really good these days (and a lot better than the 6t, which I also had).
The pixel has been so buggy (supposedly people buy it for the Google software and quick updates, but to me the buggy Google software and botched updates are the worst bit of it!) and the signal is crap IMHO, so I can't recommend it.
This oneplus 9 pro had a really bad update to android 12, I had to roll back to 11 - oneplus regularly puts out rubbish OS updates. I've stuck with it because I got it for £400 (used) and it was way better value than the galaxy at the time.
The galaxy s21+ is easily the best IMHO, but I didn't keep it because I had a use for the extra £300 at the time.
I've not had any issues with overheating or getting too hot. But battery is crap, doesn't get a full day out of one charge.
I've had no overheating and no battery drain. Always get 2 days use out of mine (with dual SIM, and poor signal all day at work).
Depends on the phone make and Android version.

Silver version is £599 at John Lewis if that helps
It seems a lot of the SD888 phones don't have as good battery as the older SD865 phones. My S21 FE is decent, but not exactly stellar.
I wonder if the SD8 Gen 1 is better?
I would say so yes.
Could also be that OnePlus have fibbed about battery capacity, supposed to be 4500mAh but mine shows at 4000!
That really isn't great if that is accurate!
Have you tried Accubattery for the exact readout after a few charges?
My Pixel 4a shows at 110% capacity after about 6 months of using the app, so they obviously put slightly bigger batteries than the spec says..!
i disagree, my phone shows the battery as specified by oneplus
Very good. Yours shows correct, however mine doesn't. Not sure how you can disagree
I'll have to check it out, only gone off CPU Z as it's something I've always used (edited)
I am disagreeing with the below statement sherlock - - >
Could also be that OnePlus have fibbed about battery capacity
Sure, and my screenshot is photoshopped
not saying that mate, you have a dodgy battery as you stated, this does not equate to oneplus fibbing about their batteries
nuff said !
Use Accubattery and BatteryGuru and report back.
Accubattery said 3550 when installed, will give it a few days
Accubattery will tell you the remaining battery health, it doesn't give one figure, it gives the max battery capacity and the remaining battery capacity, so there's two figures that should be quoted not one.
Is it worth it?
How does it compare to Pixel and Samsung?
I know, that's why I said I'll give it a few days
PIxel 6 series and Samsung S22 series have better cameras buy those if you want better photos.
I had the phone for a year. It was a good phone. Fingerprint location was a non issue. Cams were good but I'm now on the Pixel 6 Pro and very happy. The cameras are amazing, as is the design and software.
Not worth 600 a year later. Needs to be closer to 500 (edited)
I'm curious about this roll back. Does it mean flashing it yourself with the old ROM?
Could this be done on other phones or Android versions?
