This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The OnePlus Nord has been created with 5G technology to ensure your phone is future-proofed. Additionally, there’s a 6.44" Fluid AMOLED, FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, a 32MP + 8MP front-facing selfie snapper, and a rear camera featuring 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP lenses, so you’re all set to stream films or capturing stunning images – as well as surf the net or take advantage of on-board GPS.

5G capability
OnePlus Nord’s future-proofed 5G modem will enable you to still use 4G, however depending on your network provider, you’ll experience incredible speeds and better quality streaming video, along with more reliable network connections when you’re in crowded places – especially during peak times.

Perfect pictures
The OnePlus Nord comes with a 32MP (main) + 8MP (ultra wide), front camera lenses, so you’ll never miss the chance to capture a social media winning selfie.

The Nord’s rear camera will help you to achieve stunning shots that you’ll want to treasure, thanks to the 48MP (main) + 8MP (ultra wide) + 5MP (depth) + 2MP (marco) lenses.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

This device has 8GB RAM.

Super screen
Designed for those who prefer a larger screen, the Nord’s 6.44” Fluid AMOLED, FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate will ensure, your games, pictures, videos and apps will all look crisp and immersive.

Warp Charge
The Nord’s battery features fast Warp Charge technology, enabling you to power back up in next to no time.

Stay secure
OnePlus Nord has built-in facial recognition and fingerprint sensor – all it takes is just one quick glance or finger tap and you’re in business.

What is SIM free?
You'll receive an unlocked mobile, so there’s no requirement to commit to any network, leaving you free to decide which SIM card / network to use in the device. This gives you the opportunity to find the most suitable plan, whether that’s contract or pay-as-you-go, throughout the lifetime of the phone.

Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device’s lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.

Nord or pixel 4a hmmmm?

General consensus seems to be pixel if you care about photos, future updates and default android experience. Nord if you care about speed, screen quality and battery. with the pixel not launching in the uk till October tho id give a nod to the Nord.

Surely you want a phone that will get Software Updates.

Xiaomi are the 4th biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world and have been around for nearly 10 years.

What's not to trust? Do you mean in the sense of hidden Chinese spyware?

It’s just in general, like if I bought a OnePlus or Google Phone it’s very easy process to get Repairs or Support, from what I’ve seen not so much with Xiaomi.

I don’t believe in Chinese Spyware, I just think OnePlus and Google provide a more reliable experience for longer.
The 765G processor is equivalent to the 845 top tier processor from 2 years ago
For anyone disputing this, here's a proper benchmark of this on YouTube

A speed test comparison of the 4a to the Nord can be found on YouTube

I personally would naturally float towards the pixel, but that's because I'm biased, the Nord seems to have better everything except for the one thing google does great at, the camera. Build quality, ram, storage, number of cameras, chipset, screen, 5g etc etc etc, If i was buying a phone i would seriously consider the Nord.

Also the 5G Pixel 4a is going to be £500, so that's the direct comparison with the Nord. The poorer camera on the Nord I understand is a software problem that can be fixed by downloading GCAM (the Google camera software)

From what I've heard OnePlus support is absolutely horrendous and I'm a 7t pro user
@MrSwitch Should I get the OnePlus Nord (300euro) or a Samsung S20 5G (380euro). I would ideally have gone for the OnePlus 8 but its too expensive (520 euro), due to snapdragon and better battery life....

Who is selling a Samsung galaxy S20 5g for 380euro? That price seems to good to be true.

Yeh makes sense to me aswell. Just haven't been happy with the battery of my S10. Even my S8+ had better battery it feels like. I would be relatively happy if i get 6 hours SOT @ 120 frames on the S20. Its

I live in the Netherlands, and Vodafone has a nice deal going on + Samsung is providing €100 cashback.

1 year: €22 per month (40GB+ unlimited min/sms), phone for 385

2 year: €21 per month, phone €315

OP support is reasonably good, you'll probably get Android 11 6 months before the Galaxy, for some reason they lag behind on security updates, which I'd have thought should easy to test, although I doubt anyone is at any risk as they don't have the latest security update. My present OP3 hasn't had any security updates for 6 months.

I'm really confused about the actual UK release date too.

If you have to wait till October you may as well just wait for the 5G version.
If I open the box to look at the phone and change my mind can I return it for a refund?

For EUR380 (£350) you're either getting the most beat up second hand S20 ever, or you've found the deal of the year!

The S20 5g is a much better phone in almost every way. Which is why it's generally around £650+ new.
