Typically my LG G2 from black Friday turned up yesterday afternoon after I was told they were all out of stock and no more were coming!

Only 16gb left. Shame...

Great if you missed it on Thursday now you can get it.

As plenty of people in the old thread mentioned, be aware of dispatch times and their non-existent customer service before buying. That being said, i've ordered one! Haven't had any notification of it being shipped and i ordered a week ago but i expected that after reading just how long people have been waiting on their forums.

Exactly... just wanted to say:) Its christmas time people. Instead of waiting one month for phone, wait for some great deals. Things like G3 getting close to £240-£250 price mark...

If you go to my orders if it says complete then click "view order" there is "about this order" "shipments" then you can find your tracking number. Hope that makes seance and helps.

I ordered the last time they did this (last week or so?) and it is currently on its way today by DHL

nice phone but an intermittent wifi issue needs looking at, once it drops you have to factory re-set the phone to get it working again... annoying... customer service a total waste of time!

unlikely you'll get it for Xmas if it's a present

Is this a known bug/problem?
If wireless is intermittent across all batches and limited 4G compatiblity in UK, then I'm gonna hold off with this even though having heard positive reviews.

Sounds like a faulty unit, I've had mine for a few months now and haven't experienced any issues with wifi.

I expect if this is a bug that manifests in certain circumstances, then a patch will appear, as CyanogenMod are pretty active community.

Some people like to have a removable battery and SD card and I don't think these phones have them.

Not had the WiFi bug and have had the phone a few months, great device! 64gb is a must due to lack of SD card slot though. 4g is fine on EE for myself, but think 4g only works on EE and 3 over here.

Nope, fixed 3100mAh battery that lasts two days of normal usage, and a fixed 64gb of storage.
Also, as mentioned, 4G will only work on EE and 3, however 3G will work on any network (currently using mine on a 3G T-mobile contract)

Personally I've never missed a replaceable battery as I charge nightly, but it can last 2-3 days if I need it to and 64gb combined with Google's cloud storage is fine for me. As for 4G support, 3G is speedy enough that I've never really been stuck waiting for downloads so that's not a problem for me either, so I have a phone that covers all the bases for half the price of similar phones, with a lot more options for customisation.

Ordered the 64gb Noticed a comment on the oneplus forum about the no invite. Looks like I am too slow for HUKD members.
Hope I get one without any issues...

Got the G3 as well, but that also has issues mainly due to the 4k screen

I read that the G3 was a great phone, but let down by a poor battery life due to the QHD screen. I can't see QHD screens being worth the hit on battery yet, it's not like 1080p on a 5.5" phone is particularly noticeable.

OnePlus Two should be interesting.

Its a shame they didnt include support for 4G for o2 and vodafone.. Personally I wouldnt pay for that reason alone.

Nice phone though.

I have no problems with a non-removable battery either, I've got the screwdrivers out on a few in the past when they get tired.
I don't need anywhere near 64GB storage, though some like the capability to transfer data via a SDcard.

4G on the other hand.... I didn't think I would need it until it popped up and my phone started using it. Compared to the old 3G it's rock solid, holds connection much better when you are moving and the speed saves battery life. A revelation really and I think I would miss it now.

Thanks for the heads up order

Never had this issue and i been using the Oneplus nearly 5 months. What OS version are you running ? Any mods, xposed modules etc? Try clear cache partition from recovery mode, or search the oneplus forum.

Personally SD slot is useless on a 64gb phone unless you intend to carry extensive media, in which case get a tablet or portable hdd. Its a phone not a TV.

Removable battery is also useless to MOST of the users, its great if your job requires you travelling a lot and not have access to mains power that's about it.

Plus shipping!

Standard £5.29
Express £9.99

And paypal only checkout which is weird for a mobile phone I think.

Looking for some genuine thoughts here if i can.

I have an LG G3 (3GB Model). I love the phone but i despise LG's skin, and the problem with any custom rom is that the camera then becomes awful due to it missing LGs framework.

I like the specs of this phone (QHD Screen missing does not bother me at all) - but realistically do you think it'd be too much of a step down from my LG? I don't know whether to sell the LG and buy this, or sell the LG and buy a Nexus 6 (but obviously would need to front some extra cash up). I think after having the Nexus 4 I need to have as close to stock android as possible, i can't take anything else.

Cheers.

In which case, just get a small portable charge pack. That's what I used on holiday with my Lumia 920 (which tended to eat it's battery life). Used one about the size of a lighter. Got me a full charge with a little bit left over. Probably cost about the same or less than a spare battery would for other phones. Pretty much the same net result really.

I have had a G3 for quite a few months now and haven't had any issues. Battery is usually still above half when I put it on charge on a night when my old HTC one x+ was nearly dead.

Battery was fine, its more memory related issue as mine was the 2gb version. As the screen takes quite a large chunk combined with LG's aggressive memory mgt it meant only about 4 apps could stay in memory. The lag of reloading an app you just used a few mins ago got quite annoying making an old Nexus 4 seem faster.!

Did read you could reduce the screen to 1080 but that would mean rooting so no OTA updates...

Just about to buy, is Express delivery worth paying for over standard ?

I bought one of these 64GB from a kind invitation from another HUKD user. Arrived quickly with in a week. Brilliant phone and brilliant price I loved it. Only problem was the photos were so dull and boring, just washed out compered to my Moto G (2014) which has nice rich well saturated colours.

Sold it on eBay and easily got my money back so no problems all round.

So to sum up great phone at a brilliant price but the camera is not to my taste.

Hope this helps with you buying decision.

I have one of these and I cant fault it, as regards express delivery it is supposed to be as fast going with standard.

not really., I ordered back in August, back then standard was faster than express.

Just loaded up about 20 apps, Google maps, Google earth, opera, YouTube, another browser, couple of games etc and when I swipe to bring up home touch buttons it's instant, when I click the switch between apps button it instantly pops up with all my apps, it then visually takes a tiny tiny amount of time to generate thumbnails of them, but when I click on any app it instantly take me to it and I can instantly start using it. I only have the 2gb version. The only slight bit of slowness I have noticed is when it is unlocked and then you swipe to another screen, but nearly every phone has that and it's due to the phone being at a low cpu state when it is locked and then getting up to speed again. I love my G3.

Why not just change the skin? I run Nova launcher on all my devices even on my Nexus 4 which is vanilla Android- much easier than installing a mod and its fast and light on resources

I will stay away from Oppo mainly due to customer service. I have Find7 and they haven't even given stable Kitkat yet. What do you expect from them? Horrible after sales.

My flagship find7 can't install more then 20-30 apps due to "insufficient disk space issue" despite having 10+gb available on the inernal storage. Some smarta**e at Oppo decided to implement partition so that apps stay within 2.9gb limit. I am not bothered with custom rom neithe I have time to faff around with various tools over the internet with high-risk of bricking it.

Must admit bar the above issue phone is quite good, blazing fast and responsive, good looking. But the above issue is a deal breaker.

If it helps I ordered mine last Thursday on standard delivery and it arrived yesterday. The only drawback of standard is it uses 'Royal Mail signed for' service which has no online tracking.

Interesting, I will likely move to either EE or 3 when my T-mobile contract is up, so I'll look forward to the improved connectivity.

It will only be a step down if you are bothered about the screen resolution. Everything else is pretty much equal. There is no radio on the OPO but it has a better (higher resolution) front facing camera and slightly higher capacity battery, which coupled with a lower resolution screen will give you more time between recharges.

This is OnePlus run by ex-OPPO employees, not OPPO themselves. They are separate companies according to OnePlus:

“We understand the confusion as many people are just finding out about OnePlus. But as we’ve said from the beginning, OnePlus is a separately run company that does share common investors with OPPO.
One of those investors is OPPO Electronic. OPPO Electronic is an investment company and is not the same as OPPO Mobile. OnePlus is also in talks with other investors.”

And for OS support; with the Cyanogen based OS we're getting monthly updates, which is more than I've ever had on any other Android phone.

Must have realised that people were getting sick of the invite

The invite system is primarily to manage demand, and as production has ramped up to meet demand, invites have become less of an issue. I got a system generated invite a few weeks after registering on the forums.

Without the invite system they would have been flooded with orders that would have taken months to fulfill, creating a much bigger backlash than just having to negotiate an invite system
