"Martial arts action set in Thailand."

Rather liked this. Avoid the sequel, Warrior King.

If you only watch this film for the comical dubbing it is worth it but besides that it is a top notch Thai martial arts film.

the one I rented from Lovefilm had English sub-titles. For those who haven't watched this movie then buy it or rent it. Simply outstanding and the stunts are real and mind-boggling.

voted hot!

Try Tom Yum Goong (Warrior King) for the most amazing scene

watched it with subs... its an AWESOME movie!!

also watch battle royale.. not the same genre... but the only other subs movie i watched that had me captivated!

I bought this instore last week at HMV for £3
Worth every penny

Great movie. Hot!

Great film and a great price. Buy it if you haven't got it!

As said, great movie, Tony Jaa is incredible, all his stunts in this movie are done without wires or CGI, he is something else!

The cockney dubbing is also super funny.

fantastic film

good find?

I've had this a while, much prefer the subtitled to the english dubbed, great film.

Didn't know there was a sequel though.

Worst plot then Ong Bak but more action, I prefer Warrior King over Ong Bak.

£3 instore at HMV at the moment too, 10% student discount if you've got the HMV student card.

This is one of the best fighting films ive seen in my life.

If you like this, try District 13 too- French film, subtitles or dubbed, the main character is one of the founders of that free running thing, but it's got one real selling point....

you know that bit in any decent action film when the hero turns around to find he's got to fight a really big bloke.... the really big bloke in this film is the biggest non-cgi guy i've ever seen in a film.... makes the big guy in Ong Bak look a bit wimpy!

Ad is here: ]http//ww…UoI
you'll clock the big dude having a breezeblock smashed over his head and at about 1:10 there's a flying kick to him... awesome!

great film- heat and rep added - thanks!!

please do NOT avoid Warrior King - it has the longest single take fight scene in recorded history and is an awesome film in its own right anyway.

The sequal has one of the most amazing continuous fight sequences ever filmed. Both films are superb, although neither will win awards for story of dialogue.

and don't miss 'Born To Fight' (not a Tony Jaa film). the most silliest plot ever but the stunts are death-defying (check out the stunt where a man falls between two fast moving trucks). simply outstanding.

Both Warrior King and Ong-Bak are the greatest martial arts films of our time. Due to the amazing stunts in these films, both martial arts fanatics and people who haven't even heard of Bruce Lee can enjoy watching. It's all about the bone crunching scene in Warrior King, and every time I see the finishing move at the end of Ong-Bak, it cracks me up!

Agree with most, Ong bak and Warrior King are two of the best martial arts films ever. But hit me over the head with your elbow followed by a knee under my chin if i'm wrong but i dnt think Warrior King is the sequel to Ong Bak, Ong bak 2 is currently being made. £3 well spent.

Not one of the best but bloody good. Prefer filmss like iron monkey, fist of legend etc.

That is quite correct warrior king(Tom yum koong) is definitely not a sequel to Ong-bak. As the story is associated with two compleply different things and I'm also half thai. Not quite sure why the latter reason would help? If you like thai movies I'd recommend Bangrajan or a horror flick called Shutter. It's one of te scariest film you'll ever see. Better that all those Hollywood ones that's for sure.
