the key registration and Anti-theft Guarantee is only for US customers only.
I've one of these and while a-hole thieves helped themselves to various parts off my bike, their attempts to break the lock all failed.

depends what you use it for I suppose!
have some heat, i'm looking for an a new lock to replace my 25 year old Kryptonite one and this looks good
Dam paid £54 yesterday at Halfords for a similar one

I have had a few of these locks (2 + 2 new ones send as replacement under warranty). After a few months of carrying the lock on the frame of your bike, the 2 silver cups that protect the sides of the shackle as you can see on the picture will fall off by themselves, due to vibrations.
Mine goes in my bag rather than on the bike. It's been ok so far
Got this last month. Lock send really secured. It's very heavy though 1.9kg
I've got both, this and the smaller version. The smaller one fits better on the front fork but the choice would depend on the size of post you're going to lock it to.

Had to send one back as the lock was a bit stiff as if it would break the key. Not bad for the price, as with all locks would only deter the casual opportunist thief.

Got the small and large version, used for a couple years each, caps still firmly attached. Not sure why yours fell off..

Pitbulls 😄

I only just got that .... for shame!
Good price. I needed one of these gold rated locks for insurance purposes. Heat added
I have one of these and it really is excellent quality for the price. The cable could be longer - if the D-lock is on the rear wheel/frame of my bike it doesn't quite reach through the front wheel - but you could always buy an extra one. The D-lock is the main thing, and it really is solid.

I've not had any issues either, had mine for a couple of years of daily use.

Mine have also fallen off, and I always transfer it in my bag.
3 years owner, using it daily.
Don't get me wrong, is a good lock for its purpose. My bike was not stolen. And the lock was never blocked. And the light on the key is a nice touch.
But I used to have the Kryptonite one, and I think that one is a bit better assembled and looks nicer. Nevertheless, this is a good lock, heat.
Use this with a 16mm chain for my motorbike. Solid

Some WD40 usually does the trick when it gets stiff

Just to warn everyone, having checked the Sold Secure site, the cable is NOT rated Gold Secure, only the U-Lock. So if, like me, you need the locks and cables to comply with your theft insurance, the cable will not be any use to you.
Think a Ramset would still have this.

Most cables are garbage it seems. I switched to using two D-Locks instead, it's heavier but worth the extra hassle.
