Thanks for posting, this or pioneer vsx 832? Just got the former and thinking of returning as this one supports 5.2.2 and pioneer only 3.1.2 in atmos

  • Phono Input (MM) and Equalizer for Turntable
does that mean I can get this and remove the need for my pre-amp ?

Ooh an electric recliner with USB charger.

Yes this’ll do the trickproviding you’re using a moving magnet (MM) cartridge in your current turntable.

What is it with the usual comment? Is it a long running joke or are there issues with the brand?

It’s a long running joke where someone posts that Onkyo is and unknown rubbish brand and people should buy a named brand like Bush, Goodmans or something equally crappy and vastly inferior. Then comes the comments from the outraged people saying that Onkyo is awesome and has been around for 70 years which everyone knew anyway. Then everyone has a good laugh at their expense and confusion.

It’s hilarious

I bought the black when I posted the deal. It must be oos by now.

Shame RS don't stock for their warranty and price match.

All those features yet only one HDMI out ☹

Warranty and this is putting me off. I'm happy to use an external splitter like I currently do on my 8 year old Onkyo but I shouldn't have to on a modern device from 2017! If I could solve the warranty issue I would bite!

pretty much the same across Onkyo, Yamaha, Sony, Denon etc. You need to be £400+ to get 2 outputs.

Why would you want more than one hdmi output?

What's the warranty issue? I had the HDMI issue on mine when it was well out of warranty but they took it and repaired it without any questions. Couldn't fault their service, unlike Very and Dell.

Best yoghurt going, admittedly the girl from the pussycat dolls in the ads was my main reason for trying it in the first place
