Seems like a good price. Has anyone taken their courses before ?.

or anyone aware of free online learning video or curse they can advise

Does anyone know whether this is suitable for left-handed players?

Just turn your screen upside-down winkypoos

Had a look at their website and looks very "thin" and unimpressive. Probably worth £12 but might just be recycled rubbish.

I have been learning guitar using online resources for about 4 months now. May I suggest the following free resources to get you started:

Justin @Justinguitar
This Australian dude is brilliant at tuition, he has an easy manner and is very popular.

Marty Schwartz @ MartyZSongs
Another nice guy who can get you learning easy songs, quickly

Pete @ Georgiarose16
Another Australian guy who does really brilliant covers and then tutorials on the ones that people like the best. He has a great selection of popular music that will really inspire you (well it did me). Once you start banging a few of these out, you'll be motivated to learn even more.

My advice would be to get over that initial hurdle of learning your first few chords, your fingers going numb etc. and persevere. Once you manage to strum out a tune you really like, you'll be so happy you took guitar up. I've got a long way to go before I can really produce the sounds I want, but i'm so glad I finally took it up and only wish I'd started years ago.

To say £300 is the full price is ridiculous. You could get a decent course of lessons with a local teacher for that. As stated, there are loads of free guitar tuition sites and lots of stuff on You Tube. It's just not worth paying even £12 for stuff like this IMO.
