Yes but surely you'd need a degree for anyone to take you seriously?

Yes but surely you'd need a degree for anyone to take you seriously?

Actually, it seems not. There are many courses around that are approximately "A level" which "qualify" a person to advise on nutrition and quite a few folk that I'm aware of are using their qualification to do just that. Many are also using it in conjunction with other holistic therapies.

Why is it so cold in here?

As its online does that make it less of an achievement/qualification?

Has anyone managed to get a code for their course yet?

I'm still waiting for mine and not even AmazonLocal have been able to extract one from them!!!

You're supposed to get it straight away, anything else is highly irregular.

@garyobargains - I agree but, having purchased mine on the 18th May, neither myself nor AmazonLocal have been able to get them to issue the relevant access. AmazonLocal have, during every conversation, promised to give me a full refund when I want one!! I'm hanging on in there to see what will happen and to discover if the whole thing was something that slipped through AmazonLocal's vetting system. Will keep this thread up to date on what, if anything, happens.

So, on your Amazon Local 'My Vouchers' page, is there a voucher code for you or is nothing there?

@garyobargains - have the voucher code and I've "activated" it and Hypnotherapy Centre have marked it as used on the My Vouchers page but I've heard nothing from the Hypnotherapy Centre and AmazonLocal seem unable to get the Hynotherapy Centre to provide me with the necessary information to access the course.

Did you read the 'How to redeem' thing? It tells you to send an email, did you do that?

Hello again @garyobargains, we really must stop meeting like this.

Not only did I email them the voucher on the 19th but have telephoned them as well. AmazonLocal have actually spoken with them and elicited promises that the Hypnotherapy Centre of Excellence have not kept. When I telephoned HCofE this morning, the male "receptionist" said the Director would call me back as soon as she came in - that was at 09:15 this morning and I've heard nothing.

Additionally, the HCofE have, without my permission, marked my second voucher as used when the second voucher has not been released to them by either myself or AmazonLocal.

As far as I am concerned, the whole thing stinks to high heaven.

I have also had a bit of a look around the 'Net and it appears the HCofE have run this same marketing scheme with Groupon, KGB and DealCloud in addition to the current scheme with AmazonLocal.

In my opinion, I there can be no good/decent/professional reason why HCofE have not been in touch in the more than 3 weeks that have passed since I paid for my 2 vouchers.

To recap, I purchased 2 vouchers on the 18th May and since then, despite the best efforts of AmazonLocal and myself, there has been absolutely no communication regarding access to my course from HCofE, just broken promises. Additionally, HCofE have marked both of my vouchers as used when I have only sent them the code for one course and have never even hinted at the existence of the other one as the whole deal seemed to be too good to be true. Reality so far seems to support this theory.

I'm confused, here's what I did, please tell me how your experience differed from mine...

I clicked on 'View Voucher'

then I emailed nutritionvoucher@gmail.com with my voucher code

and then they emailed me back...

Morning Gary - I did the same as you as far as - "and then they emailed me back" which, in my case they have never done, in spite of telephone calls to them from me and from AmazonLocal.

In other words, I've emailed them the voucher, they've marked it (and the one that I never told them about) as Used and that's it. Since my email with the voucher there has been 101% silence from HCofE and nothing that I've been able to do or AmazonLocal has been able to do has prompted HCofE into communicating with me.

p.s as you have successfully received the information that's needed, can you please tell me who the accredition of this course is by as I need to know whether it is nationally recognised by any of the certification bodies or whether it is only certified by their own organisation? Many thanks for the continued dialogue Gary, it's appreciated.

So you never received an email containing two PDF files?

I can see no accreditation or national recognition and I'm disappointed that the course consists of just studying the PDF and emailing them for marking and that there is no online access on their website.

I'm also disappointed that they have let you down, it seems like a scam.

They said in the email:

If you need any help throughout the course please do not hesitate to contact us on the Training Centre number 0161 798 0175, Freephone number 0800 955 6808 or via email info@excelwithnlp.com

So, it's strange that they haven't been responding to your emails.

Hi Gary,
I've been reading through your comments as I can see you took the course. I'm thinking of doing it, not for the qualification, just for myself as I'm very interested in nutrition. Maybe later I'll look at a course with the OU. I just wanted to know if the course turned out to be any good?
Thanks

At Haylesc did you sign up for this and was it worth it? I'm very interested in nutrition as well. Thanks, Will

Hi, thinking of doing the personal trainer course with them. Is there any good from taking this course or is it just a scam?

Hmmmm I have been looking into these guys. They offer a Diploma in Personal Training and Nutrition certified by IANLPC
which is a company they own. If that doesn't scream scam I don't know what does! Their contact email address is a gmail address. If they can't even bother to spend 1.99 on a cheap business email address how on earth would they provide a genuine course.

I am curios, has anyone actually done their courses for real? What is this so called Diploma?

Apologies for the rant. I am a single mum though looking to start a new career and I get so annoyed when you think you get a good deal and these people just want to rip you off.

Hi I have just signed up to the nail tech course offered by this company and so far all the course consists of is 10 short PDFs documents and a few questions at the end that I am suppose to answer then send back for marking. No training video or a website and every time I contact them, I get an automated response.
