Amazon are going to put my nose out of joint with these 'just for prime' deals. I shall have to take my business elsewhere whenever I can.
what about this for £250 - warehouse deal - discount added at checkout?

Thanks for posting, I've been looking out for one of these but £200 was my threshold!
Argos £179 .... is it worth the hassle for the sake of £8

if it goes wrong take it back to Argos, thats saved the postage back to Amazon for a start (and no need for "prime" rip off )

Not a bad machine, I have a model with different face otherwise identical.
The exit assembly requires the door taking apart to clean and it does need clenaing every few months as the bit of water it spits out when turning off isn't enough.
It throws coffee around inside so needs a good vacuum out regular.
Also you need a child sized hand to clean the bit that shoots the hot water out into the grinds as it is hidden up the top.

If you don't do this the coffee tastes crap after a few months.

Argos won't deliver to me. Also, I'd rather not go into one of their chav-thronged stores.

This seems like an awfully expensive machine just to avoid the additional step in your coffee preparation of grinding your beans first.
wow very good price :-)

you never go back and say instant tastes good, if you really like drinking coffee.
horses for courses though...I do agree!

I did not realise that Freesat boxes are free now.
Could you please let me know where I can get my 'free' Freesat box? Preferably HD, thanks.
Otherwise Freesat is 'subscription free' not totally free.

How dare those that pay for Prime get benefits
Tesco Direct also have it for £170.99 in stock. Free click and collect or £3/£5.95 delivery.
Great machine, paid £195 2 years ago, used everyday...works good.
I bought one of these from Argos yesterday and it makes great coffee! I'm very pleased with it so far

I couldn't disagree more. It makes a refreshing change for loyal and regular customers to be rewarded for their loyalty compared to mobile phone networks, insurers, etc who give the best deals to new customers. How it should be imho.

I'm a loyal customer. I just don't want prime :(tried it not interested:) I generally do not need next day delivery, and I don t want any more TV.
if by loyal you mean stumping up£80 that's your choice.

Seems the decently priced warehouse one is gone now. I think you have to have Prime for the 20% additional warehouse discount on electricals & computing devices - it gets taken off when you go Proceed to Checkout not in the basket itself
