thats a great deal http://www.picturehoster.org/storage/11.jpg

Cool, only just taken the sport up will do for me.

Would these be suitable for a lady golfer?

I've just bought this today. i thought I'd buy a cheap set to start off with. When I went to pick it up,It had a diffrent name on the box Ryder Golf. When I opened it, there was a trolley in side all the clubs and about 10 golf balls!
Bargin!

I bought this set about 5 weeks ago and have had no problems. Really good set to learn with.

I have got to say they will be lacking a bit of quality about them, but what a bargain for a starter!!

Let's hope this thread doesn't go the same way as most Cheap Mountain Bike or Cheap Guitar threads ;-)

HOT DEAL!

H&R added....

I have been playing golf for years and I agree expensive golf clubs can make a difference, but these will be ideal for someone just starting golf.......

I bought these clubs just over 4 months ago for the same price. I think they are always half price lol. Anyway it seems that there is a bit of variety in the set that people actually get as mines didnt contain any golf balls and the clubs themselves were slightly different from the ones in the picture. Anyway as a beginner i find them an absolute bargain and some of the guys on the course have tried them and say you would never know they only cost £50.

Only downside is that i have a major slice when using the driver but thats just down to me not being very good. Well worth the dosh.

yes will do well for 1st time choppers!

Great deal, just ordered them thanks

Any idea how heavy these are, was gonna get a set for girlfriend - but steel shafts doesn't sound great. But for £49 I suppose you can't go wrong.

there is very little difference in the average weight of steel and graphite shafts
maybe 1-2oz unless your girlfriend is a weakling she will have no problem swinging a steel shafted club
