I've bought it but already having buyers remorse. Feel like I should have purchased Ooni 16 but that thing isn't in stock anywhere
Hopefully not just gone to the ebay resellers
Gone!

This is the video I watched and he says the pizza burns a bit quickly...

How's your experience been?
I know this was a gas one but does anyone have any recommendations for wood pellets? I wanted to by some ooni one's but they are out of stock everywhere?

Thought I had the last one in my basket and literally disappeared from my basket by the time I logged in .

Anyone know if the stores have them in? Or just online. As our local is next to a supermarket and we’ve got shopping to do soon

Not sure if you've got one local but my local Dobbies has official Ooni pellets stocked in-store. Pellets can be had cheaper though. See Ooni Enthusiasts UK Facebook group for all your Ooni needs.

It takes practice for sure, you have to work quickly as the whole cooking time is 60 - 90 seconds. I burnt bits of my first batch but since then not had any real issues. You will obviously have more room to work with in the 16 which may make things easier.

😵 just looked on eBay. Some people.
One person from Belfast has 3 for sale 😡. I knew I should of purchased one when Ooni had some marked seconds before all this kicked off.

You can use certain wood pellets for heating. Balcas Brites Wood Pellets work. They produce more smoke though and burn quicker.

Havent found a cheap source for hardwood pellets.

Might see about going for a look and shopping while there instead (20miles away). Will see what the wife says when she gets home from work.
It was our local tesco extra for groceries and petrol before it all kicked off. Now we just go to our local Aldi and Shell

You can try but a lot of Dobbies re-opened last Wednesday. Word spread around the Ooni Facebook groups that stores had stock and people cleared them out. Depends when your local store re-opened and which location I suppose.
They are amazing! Got the Karu a couple of months ago. So good. Takes practise and recommend the infra red thermometer!

Cheers for the heads up. I won’t bother. It’s kings lynn. Looks like they opened on the 13th so not worth the bother. I just wait. Not in a rush for one was just going to treat us for wedding anniversary next month.
Or perhaps I’ll keep an eye on the Lidl and Aldi ceramic Komado’s instead. Already got a weber q300 for the two of us .
Spent a week trying to get one of these finally got one preordered yesterday via Lakeland and now this pops up
I got a Koda 16 a week or so back and now realise that all my previous attempts at various flours, hydration levels, cold-proofing, shaping etc were futile - without the right oven it was always going to be impossible. I have a modified Ferrari G3, a professional pizza single phase pizza oven and the Koda is the only one that just works!

Every pizza cooked to perfection so far, just a matter of getting my dough precisely how I want it.

I'd highly recommend, when you can get one.

Excuse my ignorance.....but!

If its gas powered hows it any different to chucking a pizza in the oven?

Your oven doesnt get up to the required temperature and the pizza isnt in long enough to get that wood fired taste. This is perfectly fine.
