£235 is an inflated price. It’s £199 elsewhere. Still an ok discount of around 11.5%

Nice one! I might do the same to use for next year. They're bound to have a few to shift after this "summer"

No it’s the ‘3’! Homebase also have the Pro for £375 which is immense but none left online so it’s the wild goose chase through the stores!

There were 5 or 6 in Brookwood (Woking) yesterday

I was half tempted to get one but the build quality on the display item felt a bit.... how shall I put it...... rubbish

They make amazing pizzas but the build quality isn’t great. My 2S is looking a bit rusty and the hopper handle has fallen off after a year of regular use. Takes a bit of getting used to with the pellets but you’ll never eat another pizza again though once you taste that wood fired taste.

Hmmm don't tempt me! Don't have much space to store it though, quite limited. Doubt we'd have it out all year round
I have the 3 as above and they are light and extremely portable, especially if you treat yourself to the cover / carrycase.
The pizzas are immense but you need to know how to handle dough and be mindful they cook in 60-90 seconds.
The fun you’ll have initially trying to get your pizza off the peel if you haven’t made one from scratch before.
Can these be used like a tandoor for nan break and chicken tikka etc?

I’m not sure but we use ours for different breads and fajitas with the optional skillet!

John Lewis have also price matched, I think they're all following Homebase - shame really that they didn't follow earlier on when Homebase still had stock of the Pro.

I've never burnt one with my ooni 3. I'm sure I will at some point but I've had no issues with pellets or wood.

Yes i have Ooni 3 and it cooks a pizza in 60seconds, you have to get the dough perfect and also this can only make Neapolitan style pizza's ie very thin base... This is a little more tricky to use but gives you the authentic wood smoke flavour... The Kodi is simpler and easier to use i have been told as it is gas only. They also make great tandoori style food with an amazing smoke flavour. Have a look at oonidotcom site or on facebook ooni blog....

Any special tips on making dough?

I used the Ooni/Uuni recipe and it works out great - using ‘00’ grade flour

Thanks!

Search on Facebook for Ooni Enthusiasts UK - loads of tips on there for dough recipe, tips etc.

personally - if you want simple I’d go for the Koda, or buy this and get the gas burner attachment... (provided you have the outdoor space for a gas bottle

Once the dough is made and it is time to spread out the base...... Use plenty of flour. Also bread flour works just as well as 00'

Ooni recipe and i use both 00 flour as well as strong bread flour, they all work for me. You will not regret it we love our Ooni
