    1 there crocks,
    2 they've been worn or tried on.

    You definitely want to use anti fungicide spray to stop the risk of athletes foot or verrucas.

    Used can be anything. Can be just an unused return because of the size, and can also be that someone with fungus in the feets used for a couple of weeks and didn't feel comfortable,
    If your economic situation don't allow buying new, then go to a charity shop and you will find the same things but only for a couple of quids.
