Would rather pay £20 more to RS for a brand new one with six years warranty. Considering that,an open box beam with one year cover should not cost more than £250 at the most...very cold

I agree but thought I’d share it for anyone on the edge. I personally would pay the extra for pristine unopened.
£20 off for an open box and people are moaning a broken seal and abit Of tape broken I know what I’d purchase

Agreed to be honest.
I appreciate the post but how is this hot? We have seen prices drop this low a good amount of times in the past few months.

As Sam pointed out its 20 quid more for a brand new one with 6 years warranty.
When has a Sonos Beam been £299? Don’t get me wrong, I agree with your point but I’ve not noticed a major retailer selling a new (albeit unboxed) Sonos Beam for less than £300 other than with a TV. So who and when ?
The Beam was a huge disappointment IMO. I love my other Sonos equip, but the beam was a let down for me.
Richer Sounds (and a few others including Amazon) with 6yr Warranty now only £315 so I’d give this a miss now.

Surprised didn’t drop to £299 Black Friday etc.

Why?

Personally, I got fed up of unplugging the beam and plugging in my old soundbar to play movies (audio) the beam could not recognise. More wouldn't play than would, so I ended up getting rid of it and bought a new soundbar instead which thankfully is much better, then again it cost a lot more.

Why wouldn’t it play them?

Why wouldn’t it play them?

Because the Beam doesn’t support all audio formats.
10% off with Very (new account), just brought one for £287.49 next day delivery. Also some cashback deals.
